Sankofa: a coloring book of African Prints and Proverbs is intended for adults and children 12 years and older. Sankofa means to reach back and retrieve it, although this work barely scratches the surface of what we need to go back and retrieve. African culture is very rich and diverse. This work, the first of many, is only a glimpse into that richness.
