Has life gone the way you thought it would go? Have your senses of safety, security, and confidence been replaced with fear, doubt, anxiety, and even depression and despair? By following the biblical example of Joseph and the teachings of Jesus, learn to turn your hurt and trials into a springboard for a more tangible and intimate relationship with God. In 2016, a year after releasing his book Jesus Speaks, bestselling author Steven K. Scott’s mentor and dearest friend, Gary Smalley, fell asleep in his bed and woke up in heaven. Steven had lost not only his best friend of forty-three years but also his most enthusiastic encourager. Brokenhearted, he lost his passion to write. In 2020, Steven was hospitalized, wondering if he’d survive COVID, and the Holy Spirit let him know, in no uncertain terms, that it was time to break free from past hurts and disappointments, start living in the present, and do what God had called him to do. Inspired, Steven began studying the life of Joseph, a biblical figure who suffered trauma after trauma but used his suffering as a tool. With so many people living in a world of hurt and uncertainty, The Joseph Principles gives you what you need to heal your hurts and successfully navigate through current trials and future adversities. By following examples from Joseph’s life and the corresponding teachings of Jesus, begin confronting your deepest hurts and find freedom, using your past trauma as a springboard to a closer relationship with God. Through The Joseph Principles, you will: Discover a clear pathway to the joyful and abundant life that Jesus makes available to his followers Find amazing hidden treasures that can truly change the course of your life Experience God in the “miracle of the moment” by not dwelling on the past or jumping to the future Be empowered to forgive even when you don’t want to--even the worst of your offenders Discover God’s love language to become more intimately connected with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit Bring miracles of God’s love, mercy, compassion, wisdom, and righteousness into every aspect of life In The Joseph Principles, you’ll discover specific steps to provide a clear pathway to the joyful and abundant life that Jesus provides for believers.

Fatherhood Principles of Joseph The Carpenter is a challenging and exciting motivational book for fathers with ground-breaking analysis of the scriptures on this Great Man of Faith. As the earthly father to Jesus Christ, Joseph was a Godly man, a man of character, a loving husband, a family man, a teacher, a provider, and a protector. Joseph was a purpose-driven servant of God.Joseph is a great role model for 21st century men, husbands and fathers. He was a great man of faith (like Abraham, Noah & David). Fatherhood Principles of Joseph The Carpenter sheds light on aspects of Joseph's life that many people have never thought of, has ground-breaking analysis of this Great Man of Faith, provides 7 Godly principles that men can implement today, explains details of the Jewish background for many Biblical scenes, and is easy-reading, well researched and well-documented. There are only a handful of books on Joseph the Carpenter (or Joseph of Nazareth). None of them focuses on his fatherhood role. This book features a unique approach to the study of Joseph the Carpenter because of (a) its fatherhood focus, (b) its Bible Study components, (c) its extensive application for family studies and family values, (d) its approach to marriage and relationships, and (e) its presentation of Jewish customs and traditions.

If your influence only lasts as long as you do, you failed. This book will help you reach your full potential, inspire greatness in your spouse, children, and friends, and leave a legacy that lasts beyond your lifetime. True influence should increase through the lives of those you have poured into, even after you pass away. Our greatest example of this is Jesus. His followers did greater works after He left them. Jesus never wrote a book or traveled outside of Israel, but He was able to use a band of eleven followers to create the largest, most influential movement the world has ever seen. Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master. He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. In The Jesus Principles, Joseph Mattera helps you unleash greatness in yourself, but even more importantly, in your circle of influence—your spouse, children, friends, and family. Following Jesus’ example, you will be empowered to leave a legacy of helping others fulfill their own potential so that after you have passed, you are still speaking! Become part of a great cloud of witnesses who help to unleash human potential in one another. The four Gospels are not only compilations of important moral and spiritual sayings, but they also contain principles that can enable us to move from potential to fulfillment of purpose.

Fluorescence methods are being used increasingly in biochemical, medical, and chemical research. This is because of the inherent sensitivity of this technique. and the favorable time scale of the phenomenon of fluorescence. 8 Fluorescence emission occurs about 10- sec (10 nsec) after light absorp tion. During this period of time a wide range of molecular processes can occur, and these can effect the spectral characteristics of the fluorescent compound. This combination of sensitivity and a favorable time scale allows fluorescence methods to be generally useful for studies of proteins and membranes and their interactions with other macromolecules. This book describes the fundamental aspects of fluorescence. and the biochemical applications of this methodology. Each chapter starts with the -theoreticalbasis of each phenomenon of fluorescence, followed by examples which illustrate the use of the phenomenon in the study of biochemical problems. The book contains numerous figures. It is felt that such graphical presentations contribute to pleasurable reading and increased understand ing. Separate chapters are devoted to fluorescence polarization, lifetimes, quenching, energy transfer, solvent effects, and excited state reactions. To enhance the usefulness of this work as a textbook, problems are included which illustrate the concepts described in each chapter. Furthermore, a separate chapter is devoted to the instrumentation used in fluorescence spectroscopy. This chapter will be especially valuable for those perform ing or contemplating fluorescence measurements. Such measurements are easily compromised by failure to consider a number of simple principles.
