Why Ronald Fell Apart was an idea that popped into my head one morning while one of my young son's was screaming (at 6:30 in the morning) "I WANT MORE CANDY " Sayings like.candy will rot your teeth. you can't have candy for breakfast.you won't grow if you eat junk food.flew into my head. A little stick figure named Ronald came to mind and that is how Ronald the picky eater was born Now Ronald is used as a tool to promote healthy nutrition and good eating habits with children. Ronald is used in schools and other organizations to try and teach children the importance of eating healthy at a young age ---and beyond. It's never too soon to start teaching children that eating good food can be fun This is my first children's book. I am a stay at home mom with a husband and three small BUSY children I enjoy gardening, doing craft projects with my daughter, cooking and trying to get my family to eat healthy I have a B.S. in Advertising and may further my education with a degree in nutrition. I have never taken on something like this before but now it has become my passion. I travel to schools and other organizations using Ronald as a tool to teach children healthy nutrition and good eating habits. Since the publication of Serena in 2008 earned him a nomination for the PEN/Faulkner fiction prize, Ron Rash (b. 1953) has gained attention as one of the South's finest writers. Rash draws upon his family's history in Appalachia, where most members have worked with their hands as farmers or millworkers. An increasing number of European countries are being faced with demands for greater autonomy or independence from regional groups. The legitimacy of nation states in Europe is thus being called into question not only by the forces of globalization and Europeanization from above, but also by growing pressure to recognize the autonomous or independent status of regional groups from below. From Scotland to Catalonia, from Flanders to South Tyrol, the movements vary in their intensity and demands, yet also have many commonalities. This book constitutes a compilation of papers presented at the international Conference "States Falling Apart? Secessionist and Autonomy Movements in Europe" at the University of Fribourg in 2013 and is a timely addition to the literature on secession, autonomy and federalism. ​This book provides an introduction to the Forge, an online discussion site for tabletop role-playing game (TRPG) design, play, and publication that was active during the first years of the twenty-first century and which served as an important locus for experimentation in game design and production during that time. Aimed at game studies scholars, for whom the ideas formulated at or popularized by the Forge are of key interest, the book also attempts to provide an accessible account of the growth and development of the Forge as a site of participatory culture. It situates the Forge within the broader context of TRPG discourse, and connects “Forge theory” to the academic investigation of role-playing.
