Jacob Schaub was born in about 1685-90. He married Elizabeth Wurtz and they had four children. They lived in Switzerland. After Jacob died, Elizabeth married Antoni Rueger. They emigrated in 1737 and settled in Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kansas.
