Advances In Cryptology Crypto 2007

This volume constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 27th Annual International Cryptology Conference held in Santa Barbara, California, in August 2007. Thirty-three full papers are presented along with one important invited lecture. The papers address current foundational, theoretical, and research aspects of cryptology, cryptography, and cryptanalysis. In addition, readers will discover many advanced and emerging applications.

Annotation This book contains the proceedings of the EUROCRYPT '87 conference, a workshop on theory and applications of cryptographic techniques held at Amsterdam, April 1987. 26 papers were selected from over twice that number submitted to the program committee. The authors come from Europe, North America, and Japan and represent some of the leading research groups working in the fields of cryptography and data security. The subjects covered include sequences and linear complexity; hardware considerations, including random sources, physical security, and cryptographic algorithm implementation; topics in public key cryptography; authentication and secure transactions; hash functions and signatures; and the theory and application of symmetric ciphers.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 13th International Conference on the Theory and Application of Cryptology and Information Security, ASIACRYPT 2007, held in Kuching, Malaysia, in December 2007. The three volume-set, LNCS 9814, LNCS 9815, and LNCS 9816, constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 36th Annual International Cryptology Conference, CRYPTO 2016, held in Santa Barbara, CA, USA, in August 2016. The 70 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 274 submissions. These are the proceedings of Crypto 2005, the 25th Annual International Cryptology Conference. The conference was sponsored by the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR) in cooperation with the IEEE Computer Science Technical Committee on Security and Privacy and the Computer Science Department of the University of California at Santa Barbara. The conference was held in Santa Barbara, California, August 14–18, 2005.

Crypto 2002, the 22nd Annual Crypto Conference, was sponsored by IACR, the International Association for Cryptologic Research, in cooperation with the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Security and Privacy and the Computer Science Department of the University of California at Santa Barbara. It is published as Vol. 2442 of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) of Springer Verlag. Note that 2002, 22 and 2442 are all palindromes... (Don’t nod!) Theconferencereceived175submissions,ofwhich40wereaccepted;twos- missionsweremergedintoasinglepaper,yieldingthetotalof39papersaccepted for presentation in the technical program of the conference. In this proceedings volume you will ?nd the revised versions of the 39 papers that were presented at the conference. The submissions represent the current state of work in the cryptographic community worldwide, covering all areas of cryptologic research. In fact, many high-quality works (that surely will be published elsewhere) could not be accepted. This is due to the competitive nature of the conference and the challenging task of selecting a program. I wish to thank the authors of all submitted papers. Indeed, it is the authors of all papers who have made this conference possible, regardless of whether or not their papers were accepted. The conference program was also immensely bene?ted by two plenary talks.
