An Archdemon S Dilemma How To Love Your Elf Bride Volume 9

On to the honeymoon! Zagan has decided to introduce Nephy to Orias both as a means to cheer her up from her anxieties of healing Kuroka's eyes, as well as to gain more information on Archdemon Shere Khan. However, Orias herself has vanished, leaving behind the message, "I'm going to retrieve Azazel's Staff." Thus, the two of them depart for the Holy Cut, the headquarters of the church, to chase after her. And in order to avoid any unnecessary suspicion, they decide to pose as a newlywed couple!

Zagan’s group travels to Nephy’s old home, the hidden elven village in the northern holy lands, to learn the secrets of the high elves. Upon their arrival, however, they get trapped in a time-distorting barrier and Nephy gets transformed into an adorable little girl. Who would do such a thing?! And exactly what is their objective?! Zagan is unsure what to do, as Nephy has reverted to a time from before she knew suffering. He’s forced to ask himself—does he have any right to restore her when she’d be happier living inside the barrier as an innocent child forever?

In order to thank Zagan for building the castle's grand bath, Lilith offers to use her powers to help Zagan and Nephy enjoy a date within their dreams. But will that really work out, considering their devastatingly poor sense of imagination? Meanwhile, the hunt for Shere Khan intensifies as more Archdemons reveal themselves and the looming threat Alshiera has been fighting draws ever closer.

Zagan is feared by the masses as an evil sorcerer. Both socially awkward and foulmouthed, he spends his days studying sorcery while beating down any trespassers within his domain. One day he's invited to a dark auction, and what he finds there is an elven slave girl of peerless beauty, Nephy. Having fallen in love at first sight, Zagan uses up his entire fortune to purchase her, but being a poor conversationalist, he has no idea how to properly interact with her. Thus, the awkward cohabitation of a sorcerer who has no idea how to convey his love and his slave who yearns for her master but has no idea how to appeal to him begins.

With Chastille’s birthday quickly approaching, Barbatos is at his wits’ end and goes to his friend for advice. However, at the exact moment, the bewitching Archdemon Eligor appears to recruit him. Shortly thereafter, Chastille witnesses Barbatos spending time with a gorgeous woman and decides to secretly tail them. Meanwhile, Zagan begins his research into how to destroy the Sacred Swords so that he can free the seraphs sealed within them. At the same time, faced with various challenges like Marchosios’s scheming and the demons’ arrival, he plays his next hand: to begin negotiations with the oldest living Archdemon, Forneus. And who better for the job of dealing with an idiosyncratic Archdemon than the brand-new couple, Shax and Kuroka?

Nephy learns of Zagan’s impending birthday from Alshiera, which is information that Zagan himself doesn’t even know. Seeing this as an opportunity, Nephy leads the charge in putting together a surprise party for him, but with her past experiences being what they are, she has no idea how birthdays are celebrated. Meanwhile, Zagan also learns from Orias that Nephy’s birthday is coming within the month, and the two Archdemons decide to mark that day as Nephteros’s birthday as well. Much like Nephy, however, Zagan is ignorant of how birthdays work as he tries to plan a surprise for her. The entire castle is in a celebratory mood, but dark clouds loom over the horizon. Zagan knows of a terrible problem haunting Nephteros that has to be addressed before any sort of celebration is an option, and he still has no idea how to resolve it. What’s more, after a month of relative peace and quiet, Shere Khan and Bifrons finally make their move.
