Barron S New York State Grade 5 Elementary Level English Language Arts Test

This manual helps prepare fifth graders to take the three-part ELA test required throughout New York State. The book presents practice exercises and review sections for all of the test’s three question types: multiple choice questions, short response questions, and an editing question. The test’s first part, reading comprehension, consists of multiple choice and short response answers. The second part, in which students listen to a passage read to them, also requires multiple-choice and short response answers.
