Presents papers read at a conference held at Airlie House, Warenton, Virginia, October 29 to November 1, 1978 on ``Advances in the Biogeochemistry of Amino Acids.'' The primary audience for this book will be academics and graduate students in geochemistry, organic chemistry, archaeology, geochronology, and stratigraphy, although it will also be of interest to workers in forensic science.

Perspectives on Biogeochemistry is an account of the origin of forces and matter at the dawn of time, and the way they evolved to planet Earth of today.
