Report by the U.S. Internat. Trade Comm. (USITC) on the impact of the Caribbean Basin Economic Recovery Act (CBERA) on U.S. industries & consumers. The overall effect of CBERA-exclusive imports on the U.S. economy & consumers continued to be negligible in 2002. Based on the upper estimates & industry analysis, the Comm. did not identify any U.S. industries that would face potentially significant negative effects from CBERA-exclusive imports.
