The outings described in this book are not technical ascents of peaks but are "mild scrambles" or "peak bags" that can be "done in a day" and are found on or adjacent to existing hiking trails. In some cases, it will mean loose rock, cliffs and/or rock outcroppings will exist, and route finding will be necessary.
