The text of a speech made in the House of Commons, England, by Benjamin Disraeli. At the time, 1864, he was the leader of the Opposition. The speech concerned the second Schleswig War which was then ongoing between Denmark and Austro-Prussian armies.

For five years during World War II, Denmark was occupied by Germany.
