A touching tale of a grandmother and her granddaughter exploring and cherishing the natural world. Words, the woods, and the world illuminate this quest to save the most important pieces of our language—by saving the very things they stand for. When Mimi finds out her favorite words—simple words, like apricot, blackberry, buttercup—are disappearing from the English language, she elects her granddaughter Brook as their Keeper. And did you know? The only way to save words is to know them. • With its focus on the power of language and social change, The Keeper of Wild Words is ideal for educators and librarians as well as young readers. • For any child who longs to get outside and learn more about nature and the environment • A loving portrait of the special relationship that grandparents have with their grandchildren For children who love such books as Outside Your Window: A First Book of Nature, And Then It's Spring, and Finding Wild. Brooke Smith is a poet and children's book author. She lives in Bend, Oregon, at the end of a long cinder lane. Brooke writes daily from her studio, looking at the meadow and many of the wild words she cherishes. Madeline Kloepper is a Canadian artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Major in Illustration from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Her work is influenced by childhood, nostalgia, and the relationships we forge with nature. She lives in Prince George, British Columbia.

There is simply no value put on words, we can all speak them; they don't cost any money, as they are free to all they are simply not appreciated. Words, however, are the reason that one person lives a life of abundance while another person lives a life of lack. Words can open doorways that hands can not. They can break down invisible boundaries. A few words can destroy life or breathe new life into a withering one. Words can fill a person full of happiness or fill them full of despair. Words can build up a person's confidence, or take it crashing to the ground. As most people do not value their words, they misuse them, which allows the power of their words to work against them. They want to go in one direction, but their words push them in another. This conflict is what most people battle with each day. They ask God to grace their lives with favor, health and abundance, but their words keep them in a life full of disappointment, sickness, and lack. In this book, I want to share with you the correct way to harness the power of your words, so instead of holding you back, they propel you towards the life that you desire. The life that you were destined to live. I will draw from personal experience and Scripture to illustrate how positive thoughts and words can be used to overcome every challenge that stands in your way. I will share how important it is to stop the habit of talking idly about your problems and instead focus on speaking about solutions. "Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do."- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Pick up your copy today by clicking the BUY NOW button at the top of this page.

A word is said to be primitive if it cannot be represented as any power of another word. It is a well-known conjecture that the set of all primitive words Q over a non-trivial alphabet is not context-free: this conjecture is still open. In this book, the authors deal with properties of primitive words over a non-primitive alphabet, the language consisting of all primitive words and related languages. Moreover, some decidable and undecidable problems with respect to the above languages are discussed as well. As another try, a search for a non-phrase structure grammar which generates Q is performed. The Supreme Court has unanimously held that Jackson Pollock’s paintings, Arnold Schöenberg’s music, and Lewis Carroll’s poem “Jabberwocky” are “unquestionably shielded” by the First Amendment. Nonrepresentational art, instrumental music, and nonsense: all receive constitutional coverage under an amendment protecting “the freedom of speech,” even though none involves what we typically think of as speech—the use of words to convey meaning. As a legal matter, the Court’s conclusion is clearly correct, but its premises are murky, and they raise difficult questions about the possibilities and limitations of law and expression. Nonrepresentational art, instrumental music, and nonsense do not employ language in any traditional sense, and sometimes do not even involve the transmission of articulable ideas. How, then, can they be treated as “speech” for constitutional purposes? What does the difficulty of that question suggest for First Amendment law and theory? And can law resolve such inquiries without relying on aesthetics, ethics, and philosophy? Comprehensive and compelling, this book represents a sustained effort to account, constitutionally, for these modes of “speech.” While it is firmly centered in debates about First Amendment issues, it addresses them in a novel way, using subject matter that is uniquely well suited to the task, and whose constitutional salience has been under-explored. Drawing on existing legal doctrine, aesthetics, and analytical philosophy, three celebrated law scholars show us how and why speech beyond words should be fundamental to our understanding of the First Amendment.

Positive words create a higher vibration and thus a positive experience of life. Words with negative connotations, however, especially if used frequently, create a limiting and possibly self-destructive reality for us, since our brain cannot decide between what is real and what only exists in our imagination. Sharing practical communication tools, such as a table to convert words and expressions from the negative to the positive, therapist and coach Jacques Martel reveals which high-vibration words to use to change our lives for the better and how to integrate them effectively when speaking with family, friends, coworkers, and in front of an audience. Healso explores healing words in mantras, guided relaxation, and chants as well as a writing technique using words that free us to bring emotional healing. Choose words illed with freedom, wisdom, and love and have them truly become the mirror of your heart and the reflection of your thoughts—you will create a more optimistic, healthy, and happy reality for yourself and others.

It is said that “words are the mirror of the heart” and that they also reflect my thoughts. If I want my language to be filled with Freedom, Wisdom and Love, there are certain words or at least a certain form of language that I must use. Jacques Martel has acquired a great expertise in this area through his many communications with the public since 1998, as much in Quebec as in Europe. In this book, which he intends as a practical tool, he shares with us several keys to help us make the messages we want to transmit more easily understood by others at the level of the heart. He gives me the knowledge of certain words related to spiritual principles, which I can integrate into my ordinary language with my family, my friends, my work relationships and when I address myself to a public. The result is a more effective and a truer communication.
