Nazism remains an enigma. Historians do not know whether to slot Nazism as a phenomenon of the political “right” or “left,” largely because of a misunderstanding of how central eugenics was to the regime. Eugenics, or “racial hygiene,” was at the core of National Socialism’s domestic policy, foreign policy, culture wars, and even Hitler’s obsession with cars, highways, and city planning. Thus, no coherent understanding of the regime is possible without first grasping the nature of eugenics. Eugenics did not originate with Nazi Germany. It was the culmination of a worldwide movement that was widely accepted by the global scientific and academic community. This book traces the origins of the Nazi eugenics state, working backward down the timeline, tracing from leaf down to the root. We investigate this 100-year trajectory from its beginnings in British and American Academia, delving into the conveniently forgotten inner-workings of a scientific era, uncovering previously unpublished manuscripts, professional correspondence, and conveniently forgotten publications. With the centenary of The Holocaust looming, uprooting the web of professional connections that engendered this movement is in order. The seeds of Holocaust denial take root and prosper with misinformation. Clarity and transparency are imperative, as they leave no room for denial theories that would deprive the victims of justice, or rob the living of a future. www.RaceOfMasters.com NOTE: A preliminary version of this book was circulated amongst academic circles and other interested parties as an Advanced Readers Copy (A.R.C.) in 2015. This version is a part the Eugenics Anthology seven-book series that is currently being completed by A.E. Samaan. Hardbound versions of the books will not be released until the series is complete, and all the puzzle pieces in place. For more information, please visit EugenicsAnthology.com

Conceived as the answer to all of mankind's seemingly insoluble health and social problems, and promoted as a substitute for orthodox religious beliefs, the pseudoscience of eugenics recruited disciples in many countries during the latter years of the nineteenth and early years of the twentieth centuries. Nowhere was this doctrine more enthusiastically endorsed than in Germany, where the application of eugenic theory received its most fervent support. A program born of what were often contradictory opinions began, under Nazi rule, with the compulsory sterilization of thousands of Germany's citizens before morphing into the mass murder of the most vulnerable of the state's own population under the guise of so-called "euthanasia," before ultimately escalating into a continent-wide policy of extermination of those who did not fit the Nazi eugenic template. The progress of this inexorable descent into barbarity was marked by successive stages of development. From the practical application of euthanasia through the organization dedicated to it—later on called Aktion T4—and the killing centers that this institution spawned, to the centrality of Aktion T4 to Aktion Reinhardt and the Holocaust, important elements of the historical record can be seen to emerge. How did it happen? What impact has it had on contemporary society? And what of the character and fate of the individuals involved in the gestation and implementation of this murderously inhumane quasi-religion? These deceptively simple questions require complex and often disturbing answers, as shown by Melvyn Conroy in this important work.

In this book Evola set out his own racial doctrine on the premise of the traditional tripartition of the human being into body, soul, spirit. In the first part, race is presented as a revolutionary idea. The three degrees of race are defined in the second part and elaborated upon in the third part. The fourth part begins with a clear definition of the term "Aryan" and ends with considerations on the racial issue from the point of view of law. Finally, the problem of racial rectification is discussed thoroughly.

“An engaging, compelling and disturbing confrontation with evil ...a book that will be transformative in its call for individual and collective moral responsibility." – Michael A. Grodin, M.D., Professor and Director, Project on Medicine and the Holocaust, Elie Wiesel Center for Judaic Studies, Boston University Human Subjects Research after the Holocaust challenges you to confront the misguided medical ethics of the Third Reich personally, and to apply the lessons learned to contemporary human subjects research. While it is comforting to believe that Nazi physicians, nurses, and bioscientists were either incompetent, mad, or few in number, they were, in fact, the best in the world at the time, and the vast majority participated in the government program of “applied biology.” They were not coerced to behave as they did—they enthusiastically exploited widely accepted eugenic theories to design horrendous medical experiments, gas chambers and euthanasia programs, which ultimately led to mass murder in the concentration camps. Americans provided financial support for their research, modeled their medical education and research after the Germans, and continued to perform unethical human subjects research even after the Nuremberg Doctors’ Trial. The German Medical Association apologized in 2012 for the behavior of its physicians during the Third Reich. By examining the medical crimes of human subjects researchers during the Third Reich, you will naturally examine your own behavior and that of your colleagues, and perhaps ask yourself "If the best physicians and bioscientists of the early 20th century could do evil while believing they were doing good, can I be certain that I will never do the same?"

H.H. Laughlin was crucial for the Nazi’s crusade to breed a “master race.” This American positioned himself to have a significant effect on the world’s population. During his career Laughlin: ~ Wrote the “Model Eugenical Law” copied by the Nazis to draft the Nuremberg racial decrees. ~ Was appointed as an “expert” witness for the U.S. Congress when the 1924 Immigration Restriction Act was passed. The 1924 Act would prevent Jewish refugees from reaching the safety of U.S. shores during The Holocaust. ~ Provided the “scientific” basis for the 1927 Supreme Court case of Buck v. Bell that made “eugenic sterilization” legal in the United States. Over 80,000 Americans were sterilized against their will as a consequence. ~ Defended Hitler's Nuremberg decrees as “scientifically” sound in the American press in order to dispel the criticism of Nazi eugenics. ~ Created the political organization that ensured that “scientific racialism” would survive the negative taint of The Holocaust and be instrumental in the Jim Crow era of American legislative racism. H.H. Laughlin was given an honorary degree from Heidelberg University by Hitler's government, specifically for these accomplishments. Yet, no one has ever written a book on Laughlin. Despite the vast number of books about The Holocaust, Laughlin is mostly unknown outside of academic circles. H.H. Laughlin was funded by the Carnegie Institution of Washington, D.C. This author was given permission to survey the institution’s Laughlin’s archived correspondence. These documents had not been seen for decades and were all but lost to history. They are the backbone of this book as they evidence Laughlin’s collaboration with Hitler’s henchmen. The story told by these long-forgotten documents intensifies at the juncture when the Carnegie leadership came to the horrible realization that one of its most recognized scientists was supporting Hitler’s regime. www.HHLaughlin.com NOTE: This book was circulated amongst academic circles and other interested parties as an Advanced Readers Copy (A.R.C.) in 2015.
