We raided Grandma's recipe box - and were delighted to find a treasury of recipe cards handwritten by her, her sister, and her mother.These are the recipes we grew up with. Some of the recipes have been handed down several generations, and are the original Swedish recipes, including snow pudding and rye bread. Other recipes have a strong Midwestern influence and Depression-Era thriftiness, but still offer the fulfillment of comfort food.
