"Geniocracy," the 1st English edition of Rael's classic work, allows a new generation to consider an ingenious worldwide solution to man's biggest problems: war, hunger, poverty and the exploitation of genius under "mediocracies" backed by military might. The solution, says the author, is geniocracy: collegial government by geniuses elected under a selective democracy. Such a system - revolutionary but truly just - would work for the good of all rather than just a privileged few, Rael explains. After illustrating how geniocracy would work on various levels, he asks us to consider how scientific advances under collegial government by geniuses - geniocracy - would create a better world: one in which every person would be entitled not only to basic necessities of life but to an existence in which "the right to work would be replaced by the right to self-fulfillment." Can geniocracy work? Rael asks only that you read this book and decide for yourself!

Aliens Adored is the first full length, in-depth look at the Raëlian movement, a fascinating new religion founded in the 1970s by the charismatic prophet, Raël. Born in France as Claude Vorilhon, the former race-car driver founded the religion after he experienced a visitation from the aliens (the "elohim") who, in his cosmology, created humans by cloning themselves. This pioneering study provides a thorough analysis of the movement, focusing on issues of sexuality, millenarianism, and the impact of the scientific worldview on religion and the environment. Raël's radical sexual ethics, his gnostic anthropocentrism, and shallow ecotheology offer us a mirror through which we see how our worldview has been shaped by the forces of globalization, postmodernism, and secular humanism.

Years ago, people knew without a doubt that the Earth was flat. Even the top scientists of the day were certain that the sun revolved around the earth. Today, most people are sure that life on Earth is either the result of random evolution or a supernatural God. Or is it? In 'Intelligent Design', Rael presents us with a third option: that life on Earth was created by advanced human scientists from another world. In 1973, Rael was visited by one of these designers, who dictated a series of messages to him to share with all of humanity. This astonishing 'message from the designers' reveals knowledge on science, religion, love, relationships, government, meditation, infinity, sensuality, eternal life, and so much more, giving us the secrets to the past, present, and future of mankind...

The Nonodoxy is a philosophical disquisition comprised of fifty-nine discourses studying the topics of knowledge (epistemology) and morality (ethics). The Nonodoxy is organised as the ninth disquisition of the treatise known as The Omnidoxy, the founding text of the philosophy of Astronism solely authored by Cometan. The Nonodoxy is the founding disquisition of Millettarian/Astronic ethics and epistemology with some of its key contributions including the notions of bromition, cosmospectivity, uniquitarianism, and Millettarian social teaching. A major segment of The Nonodoxy is dedicated to the study of centralities and incentralities that are tied to certain emotions which provide readers with an understanding of how Astronism considers such emotions and the consequences of those emotions on people's personalities and interactions.

Since the Age of Enlightenment, France has upheld clear constitutional guidelines that protect human rights and religious freedom. Today, however, intolerant attitudes and discriminatory practices towards unconventional faiths have become acceptable and even institutionalized in public life. Susan Palmer offers an insightful examination of France's most stigmatized new religions, or "sectes," and the public management of religious and philosophical minorities by the state. The New Heretics of France tracks the mounting government-sponsored anti-cult movement in the wake of the shocking mass suicides of the Solar Temple in 1994, an event that ushered France's most visible religious minorities onto a blacklist of 172 "sectes" commissioned by the National Assembly. Drawing on extensive interviews and field research, Palmer describes the controversial histories of well-known international New Religious Movements including the Church of Scientology, Raelian Movement, and Unificationism, as well as esoteric local groups. Palmer also reveals the partisanship of Catholic priests, journalists, village mayors, and the passive public who support La R?publique's efforts to control minority faiths - all in the name of "Liberty, Equality and Fraternity." Through historical and sociological theory, Palmer analyzes France's war on "sectes" as a strategic response to social pressures arising from globalization and immigration. Her study addresses the impact of these social pressures on traditional cultures and national character, as well as important issues of religious freedom and public tolerance.
