God’s Plan for His Chosen reaches back to ages past to address events that served as precursors to Adam. Such major events included God’s drafting of His detailed plan for those He would create in His own image, along with the participants in that plan. A major part of the curse resulting from the sin in the garden of Eden included God’s proclamation to Satan that He would put enmity between him and the woman and between his seed and her Seed. Such began the odyssey of redemption for man and the ongoing conflict between God’s chosen and the enemy and his seed. Much is said about the conflict and the differences between the kingdom minority and the world majority. The lengthiest and final chapter of God’s Plan for His Chosen is in fact entitled: “What in the ‘World’ Is the Majority Up To These Days” and addresses such issues as secular progressivism in America. This book is ideally suited for group Bible studies inasmuch as 959 verses are quoted from 51 books of the Bible.

All men have fight inside them. It's how they were made. And yet society tries to block that fight and tell men how much they've failed. What does a man do with that tension? And what does it do to his soul? Now Jacob A. Shepherd has teamed up with his mother, Sheri Rose Shepherd, on a book that speaks directly to men's souls. Based on 2 Timothy 4:7, His Battle offers letters from God written specifically to men, followed by prayer responses, all accompanied by plenty of Scripture. This book will destroy the lies men are told about themselves. At the same time, His Battle will speak to men in the still, calming voice of their loving Creator to renew their strength, restore their God-given fight, and help them walk and live in power and truth again. Packaged handsomely, this is the book women want to buy for their men. His Battle will help men heal from the inside and grow strong in the Lord.

A compassionate, shame-free guide for your darkest days “A one-of-a-kind book . . . to read for yourself or give to a struggling friend or loved one without the fear that depression and suicidal thoughts will be minimized, medicalized or over-spiritualized.”—Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church What happens when loving Jesus doesn’t cure you of depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts? You might be crushed by shame over your mental illness, only to be told by well-meaning Christians to “choose joy” and “pray more.” So you beg God to take away the pain, but nothing eases the ache inside. As darkness lingers and color drains from your world, you’re left wondering if God has abandoned you. You just want a way out. But there’s hope. In I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die, Sarah J. Robinson offers a healthy, practical, and shame-free guide for Christians struggling with mental illness. Walt Thrun connects Scripture together better than anyone I have read. This book on America and her future prospects is a considerate, solemn, and hopeful offering. While the world can seem, at times, like it is falling apart, the fact is that God is going to bring it together under His rule and reign! Get right with God today and Buckle up! Rev. Keith Wiginton II, Pastor, Claremore First Baptist Walt Thrun is one of America's prophetically insightful writers. This book 'Does America Really Know God?' introduces the reader to Israel, America and the other nations of the world in prophecy. Abraham and his two sons, Ishmael and Isaac are presented as they relate to successive generations and find their relationship reflected in today's news. Mr. Thrun's book also helps to disclose how the 'Fertile Crescent' plays a significant role in today's world. This book will confirm the place of Israel, America, and other nations in prophecy. Dr. Wayne Norton, B.A. Religion/Psychology, M.A. Min., M. Div., and D. Min., 40 years pastoral service. I have known Walt Thrun for two decades and have read all of his previous books. His latest book 'Does America Really Know God' is extremely relevant to current times for America. Walt stresses that God's standard of righteousness has not changed over the ages. Then it is stressed that Israel, as God's chosen nation, disobeyed God's laws which brought on severe consequences. This is a book serious Christ-followers should read. It will help you to pray for America as well as challenge you to examine your own walk with Christ. Dr. Ted Kersh, D. Do you ever find yourself confused about the war and violence that pervade our post-9/11 world? On the one hand, the Bible and Christ speak of loving enemies and self-sacrifice. On the other hand, the world around us teaches, and most Christians seem to simply accept, that violence is necessary in a world wrecked with sin. Are Christians a people of peace? Does that peace have to be won through war? Should we fight for our convictions? Or die for them? Jonathan and Derek invite you to come along with them as they explore the biblical teachings on war and violence and attempt to construct a solidly biblical and uniquely Christian view of war and violence.

"Forster and Marston have delivered a stellar book that attempts to present an exegetical and Scriptural framework for the content presented in the book. Instead of beginning from a set of deductive theological assumptions and then attempting to support that system from Scripture, Forster and Marston examine Scripture and attempt to build their case directly from the text. The authors unabashedly admit that their views are very similar to those of Arminian and Weslyan traditions, but they state in the beginning of the book that they do not want to be labeled with these names, but want to construct a theology that is in line with the teachings of the first 300 years of Christianity. Anyone who reads their appendix will come to understand that the teachings presented in this book were the orthodox consensus of the early Church for the first 300 years, and that it was Augustine who introduced serious deviations into the mainstream orthodox Christianity of his time. Forster and Marston begin by describing the battle that is being waged between God and the spiritual forces that oppose Him. They examine the book of Job and see how this relates to the overall struggle. Then the authors examine the 9th chapter of Romans to see if this book is dealing with election and individual destinies, or God's actions within human history. The authors do an excellent job of arguing for their opinion that this chapter is speaking about God's involvement in human history and it deals with God's choosing of one nation or individual over another nation or individual to accomplish His purpose. Other sections of interest in this book are the sections on foreknowledge and predestination and the chapters on faith and works. The section on faith and works was particularly interesting because it relies on much of the teaching of the new perspective which has shed much light on how a 1st century Palestinian Jew would have approached Scriptural issues. The research, argumenation, and exegesis in this book are solid so every chapter is excellent, but the ones mentioned above were two of my favorites."--Amazon.com.
