How would you get through a day like that? What would you do? In the story Head Up and Fix Your Crown, we meet Chloe. Growing up with a single parent and three siblings and not having much, my mother made sure we had food on the table. At a young age until the age of thirteen, I was molested. When I was fifteen years old, I became a Christian and thought getting married was the way out to being independent. I got married at the age of fifteen to my first husband. A few years after, the abuse began. Throughout my marriage, I suffered a lot of emotional, physical, and financial abuse and was also raped by two different men in my life. When I remarried to my now ex-husband Eddie that is now in prison, the abuse did not stop. I had to hit rock bottom and get my wake-up call. I felt helpless, depressed, and stuck for several years. My journey has been a long one. My faith in God and my children have been my strength. I am now attending college to become a social worker and am also a CEO/cofounder of a foundation to fight against domestic violence for men, women, and children. United we can break the silence, and divided we fall. There is no excuse for abuse!

THE BOOK BEHIND THE FOURTH SEASON OF THE ACCLAIMED HBO SERIES GAME OF THRONES A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE: BOOK FOUR After centuries of bitter strife, the seven powers dividing the land have beaten one another into an uneasy truce. Few legitimate claims to the Iron Throne still exist, and the war that has turned the world into little more than a wasteland has finally burned itself out. Or so it appears. For it’s not long before the survivors, outlaws, renegades, and carrion eaters of the Seven Kingdoms gather. Now, as the human crows assemble over a banquet of ashes, daring new plots and dangerous new alliances are formed, while surprising faces—some familiar, others only just appearing—emerge from an ominous twilight of past struggles and chaos to take up the challenges of the terrible times ahead. Nobles and commoners, soldiers and sorcerers, assassins and sages, are coming together to stake their fortunes . . . and their lives. For at a feast for crows, many are the guests—but only a few are the survivors. Praise for George R. R. Martin and A Feast for Crows “The American Tolkien . . . Of those who work in the grand epic-fantasy tradition, [George R. R. Martin] is by far the best.”—Time “Long live George Martin . . . a literary dervish, enthralled by complicated characters and vivid language, and bursting with the wild vision of the very best tale tellers.”—The New York Times “A fantasy series for hip, smart people, even those who don’t read fantasy.”—Chicago Tribune

Ladies, I'm not here to tell you how many secret ways you can bend over backwards to get some man to come and validate you. You've heard enough of that. Men, I'm not here to tell you how to attract more women in an effort to chase the fulfillment your heart yearns for but you never learned how to keep. You've tried that already. It did not, and still has not worked. I'm here to tell you how to stop getting mindscrewed, toyed with, and taken for granted. It's killing your hope in love, and likely even eating away at your sense of self. You don't have to admit it to me, and you can hide it from your circle, but deep down, you know. Why am I so sure? Because I've been there before. I've been on both the receiving and giving end of heartbreak. I've been the bullshitter and the bullshitted. I, like many of you, tried everything to put myself in position where I could never get hurt, but no matter what, I failed because I was already hurting due to my lack of understanding of self-love. In this book, I take you through not only my personal process in that journey but also the lessons I learned to help me lead millions in that same journey for themselves today. I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm just telling you that if you continue going in circles like you've been doing then it's by choice because I've now given you the map. The rest is on you to make the necessary steps. Just don't forget your crown

IN LOVE, THERE ARE NO INSECURITIES, BUT IN LUST, THERE IS FEAR! For Ann, who is seeking love in all the wrong places, prison lust is her ultimate desire, but can real prison love really exist? This book follows Ann as she learns the game of prison love, so that she won't get played. She soon discovers that fear, love, lust and pain are the elements of pursuing lasting intimate relationships. She also learns to think with her mind and not with her heart, to believe what she sees and not what she hears, and that even in lies, there is truth. "The Inbox: Prison Love Affairs" is an unflinching and vulnerable look at what happens when women commit to enjoying the lies men in prison tell them, lies that will never come true. It is a transparent narrative that tells the story of a woman who chooses to believe the fantasy she creates because all she needs is to feel loved.
