Here Comes The Toff

Every social call brings Richard Rollison, aka ‘The Toff’, closer to death in this thriller that is dominated by characters from all ends of the spectrum. John Mannering (aka ‘The Baron’), a retired jewel thief, is tempted back into his former occupation by a strange Frenchman who visits him. A man seizes diamonds, strikes ‘The Baron’, and makes off. Mannering is taken to hospital and whilst Scotland Yard is working hard on the case, they have very little to go on.
