Heronian Mean Operators Of Linguistic Neutrosophic Multisets And Their Multiple Attribute Decision Making Methods

A valid aggregation operator can reflect the decision result more clearly and make the decision effect more correctly. In this article, a linguistic neutrosophic multiset is first proposed to handle the multiplicity information, which is an expanding of neutrosophic multiset. Two Heronian mean operators are proposed to aggregate the linguistic neutrosophic multiset, one is a linguistic neutrosophic multiplicity number generalized-weighted Heronian mean operator, the other is a linguistic neutrosophic multiplicity number improved-generalized-weighted Heronian mean operator, and then their properties are discussed. Furthermore, two decision-making methods are introduced based on linguistic neutrosophic multiplicity number generalized-weighted Heronian mean or linguistic neutrosophic multiplicity number improved-generalized-weighted Heronian mean operators under linguistic neutrosophic multiplicity number environment. Finally, an illustrative example is used to indicate the practicality and validity of these two methods.

As an expansion of 2-tuple linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy set, the newly developed 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic set (2-TLNS) is more satisfactory to define decision maker’s assessment information in decision making problems. 2-TLN aggregation operators are of great significance in multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems with a 2-tuple linguistic environment. Therefore, in this article our main contribution is to develop novel 2-TLN power Heronian aggregation (2-TLNPHM) operators.

Linguistic neutrosophic information and its extension have been long recognized as a useful tool in decision-making problems in many areas. This paper briefly describes the development process of linguistic neutrosophic information expressions, and gives in-depth studies on seven different concepts and tools. At the same time, a brief evaluation and summary of the decision-making methods of its various measures and aggregation operators are also made. A comparative analysis of different linguistic neutrosophic sets is made with examples to illustrate the effectiveness and practicability of decision making methods based on multiple aggregation operators and measures. Finally, according to the analysis of the current situation of linguistic neutrosophic information, the related trends of its future development are discussed.

Neutrosophy (1995) is a new branch of philosophy that studies triads of the form (, , ), where is an entity {i.e. element, concept, idea, theory, logical proposition, etc.}, is the opposite of , while is the neutral (or indeterminate) between them, i.e., neither nor . Based on neutrosophy, the neutrosophic triplets were founded, which have a similar form (x, neut(x), anti(x)), that satisfy several axioms, for each element x in a given set. This collective book presents original research papers by many neutrosophic researchers from around the world, that report on the state-of-the-art and recent advancements of neutrosophic triplets, neutrosophic duplets, neutrosophic multisets and their algebraic structures – that have been defined recently in 2016 but have gained interest from world researchers. Connections between classical algebraic structures and neutrosophic triplet / duplet / multiset structures are also studied. And numerous neutrosophic applications in various fields, such as: multi-criteria decision making, image segmentation, medical diagnosis, fault diagnosis, clustering data, neutrosophic probability, human resource management, strategic planning, forecasting model, multi-granulation, supplier selection problems, typhoon disaster evaluation, skin lesson detection, mining algorithm for big data analysis, etc.

“Neutrosophic Sets and Systems” has been created for publications on advanced studies in neutrosophy, neutrosophic set, neutrosophic logic, neutrosophic probability, neutrosophic statistics that started in 1995 and their applications in any field, such as the neutrosophic structures developed in algebra, geometry, topology, etc.

Linguistic neutrosophic numbers (LNNs) include single-value neutrosophic numbers and linguistic variable numbers, which have been proposed by Fang and Ye. In this paper, we define the linguistic neutrosophic number Einstein sum, linguistic neutrosophic number Einstein product, and linguistic neutrosophic number Einstein exponentiation operations based on the Einstein operation. Then, we analyze some of the relationships between these operations. For LNN aggregation problems, we put forward two kinds of LNN aggregation operators, one is the LNN Einstein weighted average operator and the other is the LNN Einstein geometry (LNNEWG) operator. Then we present a method for solving decision-making problems based on LNNEWA and LNNEWG operators in the linguistic neutrosophic environment. Finally, we apply an example to verify the feasibility of these two methods.
