December 26, 1999. The Reverend Ananias Divine couldn’t believe his eyes. The Church was so enormously packed that they had to bring in about two hundred more chairs to accommodate the mass of the Congregation. While the whole nation and the people in the rest of the world were overwhelmingly concerned about Y2K, the people in the small town of Prairie View, Texas had only one major concern on their mind: Reverend Divine was retiring as the Pastor of the Divine Temple Holiness Church, and the Reverend Bruce Baltimore was to take over. Reverend Divine was a godly man whom everybody looked up to with the outmost respect. People loved and respected him all their lives. Reverend Baltimore, on the other hand, did some things in his life that many would feel would make him unworthy to be Pastor. Bruce Baltimore constantly reminded the Congregation that he was a living testimony, that if God could show grace and mercy, and save a wretched and useless man like him, that he could save anybody who trust in Him and call upon His name. Like the prodigal son, Bruce Baltimore was on the verse of losing everything: his job, his ball games, his marriage, his son, his daughter, respect from his dog, his fi nance and material things, his sanity, and even his own life, both spiritually and physically. If I could forgive my family and friend for conspiracy to commit murder, then surely you can forgive your husband or wife for cheating on you. your baby"s father for having another baby on you, your father for not being there, your home girl for sleeping with your man, that special friend that stole from you or the bill collectors for not understanding your situation. If you can't , then what you are telling me is that you're bigger than God. I'm not. It's not about me or you. It's about what God wants to do through us

It was then that he carried me, is about the many trials faced while being someone looked at as different in today's society. A child burned at the age of three months old having to go through life seeing more hospitals than the normal child. Later in life dealing with the many issues any normal person without scars have dealt with in their lives. Financial difficulties, marital issues, and yet holding on to faith in God. Through much prayer and strong belief you can conquer anything that comes up against you. This will help you in prayer and much struggling in the physical, mental and spiritual realm. I pray that you enjoy this and find that what I have written you can relate to and heal from. It was then that he carried me shows you that while I was stirring around in my mess, blessings was knocking at the door, deliverance was waiting to carry me through the dark days, healing was curing all that ailed me, and God never left me alone. He allowed my enemies to be my foot stool. Remember many of those who yell out ABBA FATHER are not really seeking his presence, they sometimes want his glory for themselves and that includes what you accomplish for yourself. Many who say they want you to succeed really want to see you fail thats why I stand on God's word at all times. God will never fail you; man will.

After critical analysis of my life, I have come to realise the Lord has been my portion for living. The arm of the Lord is really strong and has saved me, and he is still with me. I have drawn this conclusion due to some awkward situations that befell me and that could have resulted in my untimely death. This is the story of how I became a witch doctor, a boxer, and then a pastor and how it took me two years to travel on foot through Africa to get to Europe to attend Bible college because of my calling from God. I have shared my testimony with some unbelievers who have become new converts in Christ, and the Christians with whom I speak revive their hopes and faith. I love to share my story by speaking on a platform because I am not good at writing. But due to space and time constraints, I have chosen to write it down. Pay attention as I share with you some fascinating moments of my life.
