My book is about real life poetry, I often write from my heart about how I feel at any given time. When I was 8 years old I was shy, but I can remember when my third grade English teacher told me to write a story about how I felt on that particular day. I wrote about feeling happy! And I felt good when I expressed how I felt through pen and paper. That was the day in which I fell in love with writing. The style of writing in which I use is free writing, and I keep my writing as real to life as possible. I love creating short stories; therefore I have a variety for adults, teens, and children. I write non-fiction, fiction, poetry, short stories, and prose. The majority of my literature stems from real life experiences.

The Arms of God is a love story in which the author weaves together the life stories of the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur from their first call to religious life, to teaching and mission work, to a deeper sense of community during the challenging times that followed Vatican II. As beautifully expressed by Sister Gabriella, Falling in love with God determines if I will get up in the morning; it is the WHY I am moved to do all these things am I called to do . . . it is necessary to continue to remember and cherish our call, to listen again to the language of love, of the first love, of what or Who . . . drew you . . . What gift do I give in return? The Sisters' journey carries them from the early days of Catholic education in Texas, to Africa and the terrible years of the Rawandan genocide, and to carrying God's message today in Fort Worth, Texas. Their intimate stories draw the reader into the Sisters' lives, sharing laughter in one moment and tears in the next. Join these remarkable teachers, nurses, and missionaries as they accomplish the seemingly impossible while following the path God has placed before them. Sister Patricia shares, when you move from believing something to doing something uncomfortable . . . having once done that, then there's a freedom . . . a different way of feeling, a different way of understanding what might need to be done. This is a timely story of love, faith, and freedom that challenges readers to listen for the call of God in their own lives.

The Arms of Quirinus spins the tale of young Romulus, Rome's first king, who took the rulership and built Mars' own city, calling his people Romans after his own name and fostering the nation that wore the toga. This fresh retelling of a classic story brings to life immortal Rome's pastoral beginnings as a craggy, wooded hilltop beside an ancient river crossing and weaves a tale that might have been told by the very people who lived the incredible adventure that fostered the nation destined to extend its rule over the earth. The author's Seven Kings of Rome Novels will appeal to readers with inquiring minds who have a love of history and a fascination for the cultural roots of civilization, as well as to readers looking simply for an entertaining junket in the form of a novel that can bring to vivid life another time, another place. "The Arms of Quirinus would be a respectable work on any shelf with The Bull from the Sea or Whom the Gods Would Destroy. What Mary Renault, Robert Graves, and others did so skillfully, Goff is emulating in her own distinct way in her Seven Kings novels." - William Howard Denson III (Writers Festival)
