This book investigates the lived experience of CEOs in their quest for wholeness and presents a model of spiritual intelligence for contemporary leadership. The experience of ethical and spiritual crisis in the post-modern society especially in organizational leadership, calls for deeper quest and spiritual intelligence. Four essential themes emerged from the analysis of the in-depth interviews with top leaders of different organizations across the globe: (1) Sensing Crisis, (2) Embracing Crisis (3) Awakening Hidden Wholeness, (4) and Serving Greater Good. From the analysis of the themes, a model of spiritual intelligence and leadership wholeness is constructed. This Spiritual Intelligence Model portrays the intra-dynamics of leaders' ongoing quest for wholeness penetrating through their existential, learning, spiritual, and moral dimensions of being and the five ethical dimensions of wholeness permeating through the personal, organizational, social, global, and environmental spheres of life. This book gives a fresh perspective on spiritual intelligence and leadership practice today. Thomas Thakadipuram received his doctorate in Organization Learning and Development from the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, MN, USA. He worked as the principal of St. Claret College, Bangalore, India. This two-volume set examines the need for a consciousness-based view of leadership, which emphasizes universal human flourishing, as opposed to a resource-based view, which focuses on sustaining a competitive advantage. This approach is built around three main principles: 1) Paradigm (Consciousness is primary including complementary existence of opposites), 2) Interpersonal (focusing on empathy and compassion), and 3) Individual (experiencing Oneness and expressing creativity). Volume One is divided into three sections. The first section focuses on Consciousness-based approaches to Inclusive, Purposeful, Quantum, and Vedic leadership. The second section focuses on leadership principles from Vedic scriptures such as Ramayana and Vedanta. The third section includes leadership principles from other scriptures such as Buddhism, Confucianism, Daoism, and Thirukural. Aligning leadership practices with the notion of unbounded consciousness, this edited collection will extend the literature on organizational culture, leadership, and sustainability, contributing to solving the grand challenges facing humanity.

BLACK-AND-WHITE EDITION Human civilization is at a crossroads. Challenges of immense volatility and uncertainty press us to evolve our ourselves at a greater pace than we have ever done. We need to heal and revitalize the inner terrain of the psyche so our consciousness can respond creatively to the complexity that surrounds and challenges us. The Resonance Code is born of a marriage between ancient and modern, East and West. Its ancient and Eastern sources are Taoist Philosophy and the I Ching, one of Earth's most ancient complexity theories. Its modern and Western sources are contemporary theories of human development and practices of leadership coaching. According to the Taoist framework, the human psyche functions as an organic "resonator," directly exchanging and amplifying resonance - known as qi - with its social and natural environment. Qi carries information essential for our growth and thriving as individuals and as a species. However, on our modern, materialistic path of development, our cognitive minds struggle to process this subtle exchange between ourselves and our environment. This disconnection leads to much of the grief, loneliness, and pervasive distress we experience today. The Resonance Code presents a knowledge system developed through a leadership training curriculum at Resonance Path Institute. This system aims at awakening the psyche to resonance. It enables the rational mind to evolve beyond current limitations so we can dance with complexity and embrace uncertainty as the fertile ground of creativity. The Resonance Code is calling forth a new generation of resonance leaders. These are people who may or may not hold conventional leadership titles, but who love the Earth, feel compassion for all its inhabitants, and are committed to participate in humanity's evolutionary journey.

Developing Inner Leadership is for those who want a more balanced and wholistic approach to their lives. It focuses on all the key areas that affect people - their relationships, work and money, health and values. The key difference between this book and many others is that it recognises that all these areas are connected. By improving work prospects for example relationships can improve as well. Through a set of key frameworks and exercises the reader can map out where they are now and where they want to be. These include a set of "Vital Questions" to help people to understand what is important to them. More than this, Developing Inner Leadership offers a number of techniques to help people to move in the direction in which they want to go. These include help in changing their life stories, replacing negative beliefs with positive ones and looking at relationship needs. These are not necessarily quick or easy fixes, but with a combination of approaches, gathered from many sources, people will make progress. Above all Inner Leadership is about helping individuals to connect to their inner world of truth and values so that they can flourish and meet their highest priority needs as a whole person. The book is vital reading for all those involved in looking at theirs or others lives and becoming who they are meant to be. Ralph Lewis is an international leadership consultant and coach and has worked with many top global companies and thousands of individuals over many years. He has written several other books on leadership as well as many articles and also teaches at top business schools.
