Taylor Sr.’s life and the way he chose to live it. Taylor was in his late fifties before he started living a good life — that was when he let God come in. Readers will understand just what he is referring to when they join him on his spiritual journey. Taylor hopes that readers will enjoy the book and that they will make a change in their lives because of it.

It was then that he carried me, is about the many trials faced while being someone looked at as different in today's society. A child burned at the age of three months old having to go through life seeing more hospitals than the normal child. Later in life dealing with the many issues any normal person without scars have dealt with in their lives. Financial difficulties, marital issues, and yet holding on to faith in God. Through much prayer and strong belief you can conquer anything that comes up against you. This will help you in prayer and much struggling in the physical, mental and spiritual realm. It was then that he carried me shows you that while I was stirring around in my mess, blessings was knocking at the door, deliverance was waiting to carry me through the dark days, healing was curing all that ailed me, and God never left me alone. He allowed my enemies to be my foot stool. Remember many of those who yell out ABBA FATHER are not really seeking his presence, they sometimes want his glory for themselves and that includes what you accomplish for yourself. Many who say they want you to succeed really want to see you fail thats why I stand on God's word at all times. God will never fail you; man will.

This book speaks about what my life has been like since I've been in the United States. I talked about what my marriage was like and the struggle that I went through with my mental illness and how I was treated while I was going through my sickness, what got me to start serving the Lord and how God was blessing me even when I did not deserve it, my trials and tribulation, how he brought me out. What led me to be fully committed to the Lord? How I did what I had to do to take care of my son and to make sure he was okay? If you are a mother, you will understand where I'm coming from. If I had to do it all over again for my son, I would but do things differently. I also speak about my past relationships and how my grandmother was truly a blessing to me in the time of need. I was at my sick age, but I took the plane by myself to go to Jamaica to be with my son. I, with God on my side, brought him back home where he belongs, with his mom. Also how I got a second chance at life from the Lord. I speak a little about me and my family, but that does not mean I do not love them. I do love all of my family, and I hope when they're reading this book they will see things from my point of view.
