In Teaching Marx & Critical Theory in the 21st Century, authors reflect on, and offer radical arguments regarding, the crucial importance of Marx, critical theory, and critical pedagogy in the 21st century. Marx and Critical Theory examines Marx’s main philosophical, political and social theoretical ideas. Its purpose is twofold: making sense of the concepts and theses of Marx, and showing that they remain relevant for contemporary critical theory.

Taken together, the chapters in this volume offer a focused look at the concept of “Real Abstraction” in Marx.
