Inauguramos una nueva serie “azul” en Arquitectonics titulada Teorías y prácticas avanzadas, en la investigación sobre arquitectura y urbanismo, con un volumen introductorio al tema de las relaciones entre mente, sociedad y territorio. Ello ha sido posible gracias a una red de coedición entre diversas universidades y a un nuevo comité científico internacional de altísimo nivel. Este número incluye conferencias realizadas en el congreso internacional sobre Arquitectonics llevado a cabo en Barcelona en el año 2004, y resume además tres conferencias de arquitectos en este mismo congreso con una “buena” práctica, manteniendo los textos en su versión “hablada”, como si fuera un nivel “práctico” más, aunque ello conlleve un cierto desorden en los escritos.

Es bien sabido que la arquitectura es un tipo muy especifico de arte, de ciencia o de acto etico,porque los edificios, las ciudades y los territorios son artefactos fisicos y sociales, no representaciones «virtuales», como sucede en el cine, en la literatura, etc. Mijail Bajtin era consciente de esta especificidad cuando afirmaba que la arquitectura, «toda la arquitectura», solamente tiene «sujetos esteticos potenciales», no «heroes esteticos reales».1 Sin embargo, estas cualidades especificas de la arquitectura no significan que «el proyecto arquitectonico virtual», es decir, un proyecto aun no construido, aun no usado, sea real. - See more at: http://ebooks.upc.edu/product/arquitectura-y-virtualidad-architecture-virtuality#sthash.qKiK1LUK.dpuf

This is the proceedings of the XVI International Congress of Graphic Design in Architecture, EGA 2016, held in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, in June 2016. About 200 professionals and researchers from 18 different countries attended the Congress. This book will be of interest to researchers in the field of architecture and Engineering. Topics discussed are Innovations in Architecture, graphic design and architecture, history and heritage among others.

The Balance of Payments Statistics (BOPS) Yearbook provides tables of data, featuring regional and world totals of balance of payments and IIP components and aggregates as well as detailed information in the form of analytical and standard component presentations for economies. It is compiled in accordance with the IMF’s Balance of Payments Manual (BPM6). The Balance of Payments Statistics Yearbook is usually published in December.

Composed of international economic transactions data, BOPS delivers critical statistical information that covers: total goods, services, income, and current transfers an economy receives from or provides to the rest of the world; capital transfers and changes in each economy’s external financial claims and liabilities; tables featuring area and world totals of balance of payments; and IIP components and aggregates. The IMF Balance of Payments Statistics contains over 200,000 quarterly and annual time series data. The data include aggregate as well as detailed information in the form of analytical and standard component presentations for countries. Additional documentation is included with descriptions of methodologies, compilation practices, and data sources used by individual member countries in compiling their balance of payments and international investment position statistics.
