Ministry Digest Vol 02 No 05

In this issue we will continue the four lines of ministry that began in the first issue of Ministry Digest (vol. 1, no. 1). The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--continues with chapters 3 through 6 of The World Situation and God's Move, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1981. These chapters speak of God's ultimate move to carry out His eternal intention, His ultimate recovery, and the world's ultimate situation. The second line--Words for New Believers--continues with chapters 3 through 6 of Basic Lessons on Life, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1979. These chapters speak of God's intention in man, Satan's plot to spoil man, the real significance of man's fall, and the salvation of life. The third line--Maturing in Life--begins a new book with chapters 1 through 4 of Knowing Life and the Church, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1953. These chapters speak of life being the goal of God's creation and redemption, life being God Himself enjoyed by man, the obstacles that God's life encounters in man, and the subjective obstacles encountered by God's life in us. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--continues with chapters 5 through 8 of The God-man Living, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994-1997. These chapters provide a word of definition concerning the God-man living and then continue to speak of the first God-man's living.

In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--contains chapters 8 through 11 of The Training and the Practice of the Vital Groups, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1993. These chapters cover fellowship on awaking and arising from the dead and Christ shining on us, having a little power and having constant contacts with people, our need to rise up and take action, and abiding in the Lord and walking according to the spirit to flow rivers of living water.The second line--Words for New Believers--contains chapters 8 through 10 of Ten Lines in the Bible, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1959. These chapters cover fellowship on the line of dispensations, the line of man, and the line of Satan. This section then continues with chapter 1 of a new book, The Basic Revelation in the Holy Scriptures, which is in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1983. This chapter covers fellowship on God's plan.The third line--Maturing in Life--contains chapters 35 through 38 of Perfecting Training, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1980. These chapters cover fellowship on how to be released from the law of sin and of death, having our being according to the spirit, being according to the spirit by minding the things of the spirit, and practicing to set the mind on the spirit.The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--contains chapters 16 and 17 of The Christian Life, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1991–1992. These chapters cover fellowship on being conformed to the death of Christ and the living of the processed Triune God as the consummated Spirit. This section then continues with chapters 1 and 2 of a new book, The Triune God's Revelation and His Move, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. These chapters cover fellowship on the Triune God, His word, His revelation, His vision, and His move, and the sequence of the arrangement of the Bible.

This section includes messages on the church as the new man, the Lord's need for churches, the New Jerusalem, and walking in the spirit.The second line--Words for New Believers--contains chapters 6 through 9 of The Fulfillment of God's Purpose by the Growth of Christ in Us, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1970. These chapters cover our growing up into Christ in all things, growth in life for God's building, the development of life for the expression of life, and our enjoying Christ in the spirit for the church life.The third line--Maturing in Life--contains chapters 23 through 26 of Perfecting Training, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1980. These chapters contain messages on the top revelation of the Bible--the Body of Christ, the focal point of Romans--the Body of Christ, sonship for the Body life, and our presenting to God an unemployed body for the Body life.The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--contains chapters 4 through 7 of The Christian Life, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1991–1992. These chapters cover the functions of the all-inclusive Spirit, the all-inclusive death of Christ, and the all-inclusive resurrection of Christ.

In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--contains chapters 16 and 17, completing the messages from The Vital Groups, which are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. These chapters speak of how to contact people. The section then continues with chapters 1 and 2 of a new book, Guidelines for the Propagation of the Lord's Recovery, which are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1984. These chapters speak of our need to pursue the truth to be equipped and of our need to grow in life to live Christ in order to further the history of the Lord's recovery. The second line--Words for New Believers--continues with chapters 7 through 10 of Basic Principles of the Experience of Life, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1963. The chapters in this section speak of basic aspects of the experiences of life, including the fellowship of life, the discernment of soul and spirit, the spirit with the faculties of the soul, and dealing with the flesh. The third line--Maturing in Life--continues with chapters 2 through 5 of The Subjective Experience of the Indwelling Christ, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1983. These chapters speak of the experience of Christ as life, the reality of the indwelling Christ, how Christ indwells us, and how to experience Christ's indwelling. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--contains chapters 1 through 4 of a new book, The Issue of Christ Being Glorified by the Father with the Divine Glory, which are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. The chapters in this section speak of the concealed glory of Christ's divinity and the release of the glory of Christ's divinity, which issued in the incorporation of the consummated God with the regenerated believers. The final chapter in this section begins to present the three aspects of the incorporation of the consummated God with the regenerated believers.

This section includes fellowship on knowing the condition of our vital group, our need for a new generation, our building up a habit of contacting people, and the need in the Lord's recovery today to build up the habit of contacting people.The second line--Words for New Believers--contains chapters 4 through 7 of Ten Lines in the Bible, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1959. These chapters contain messages on the line of life, the line of building, the line of the kingdom, and the line of God's covenants.The third line--Maturing in Life--contains chapters 31 through 34 of Perfecting Training, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1980. These chapters contain messages on our cooperation and God's operation in Romans 8, the definition of the law of life and how it works, the scientific working of the law of life, and the main function of the law of the Spirit of life.The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--contains chapters 12 through 15 of The Christian Life, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1991–1992. These chapters cover our living and walking under the crucifixion of Christ.

In this issue we will continue the four lines of ministry that began in the first issue of Ministry Digest (vol. 1, no. 1). The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--having concluded the twenty-eight chapters from The History and Revelation of the Lord's Recovery, continues with selected accounts related to the current situation of our time in history. These accounts are taken from chapter 8 of The Knowledge and Experience of Christ in Ephesians and Colossians, which is in volume 4 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1961–1962; chapter 2 of The Greatest Prophecy in the Bible and Its Fulfillment, which is in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1972; and chapters 1 and 2 of The World Situation and God's Move, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1981. The second line--Words for New Believers--continues with chapters 24 and 25 of Lessons for New Believers, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1959, and then begins a new book with chapters 1 and 2 of Basic Lessons on Life, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1979. These chapters speak of the practice of fellowship and the creation of man as a vessel of God. The third line--Maturing in Life--continues with chapters 8 through 11 of The Purpose of God's Salvation, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1961. These chapters speak of three important practices in the Christian life, preaching the gospel in one accord, loving the Lord to receive revelation and take action, and dealing with the natural constitution for the building up. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--begins a new book with chapters 1 through 4 of The God-man Living, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. These chapters speak of being born of God through regeneration, of being under the organic feeding and shepherding of Christ as the good Shepherd, and of the first God-man's living.

In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--contains chapters 18 through 21 of Fellowship concerning the Urgent Need of the Vital Groups, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1991–1992. These chapters cover mutual teaching in the group meetings by mutual asking and mutual answering, paying the price to learn the divine truths and practice the mutual teaching in the vital groups, the vision needed to carry out the vital groups, and how to contact and gain people. The second line--Words for New Believers--contains chapters 13 through 16 of Crucial Truths in the Holy Scriptures, Volume 1, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1932–1949. These chapters cover topics related to release--freedom, salvation, the assurance of salvation, and the security of salvation. The third line--Maturing in Life--continues with chapters 7 and 8 of Reward and Punishment, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1955. These chapters cover obtaining the reward and maturing in life to be raptured and receive the reward. The line then continues with chapters 1 and 2 of a new book, The Future of the Church, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1955. These chapters cover the marriage dinner of the Lamb and the appearance of the kingdom of the heavens. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--continues with chapters 6 through 9 of God's New Testament Economy, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1984. These chapters cover the Son's sending of the Spirit and the Son's ascension and the baptism in the Spirit.

In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--contains chapters 31 through 34 of The Recovery of the Church according to the Pattern on the Mountain, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1950–1951. This section includes fellowship concerning the responsible ones' meeting and the gospel meeting, fellowship on how to conduct gospel meetings, and fellowship on how to meet. The second line--Words for New Believers--contains chapters 49 and 50 of Crucial Truths in the Holy Scriptures, Volume 5, and chapter 51 of Crucial Truths in the Holy Scriptures, Volume 6, which are in volume 4 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1932–1949. These chapters cover sufferings, the Sabbath Day and the Lord's Day, and the church. The third line--Maturing in Life--contains chapters 37 through 40 of The Kingdom, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1972. These chapters cover the manifestation of the kingdom, the transfer of the reality of the kingdom into its manifestation, and the Lord's dealing with the believers at His coming back. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--continues with chapters 10 through 13 of Crystallization-study of the Epistle to the Romans, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. These four chapters cover the structure of the gospel of God being the righteousness of God, the life of Christ, and the faith of the believers, the divine transfer of the believers from Adam to Christ, and the Spirit of life.
