God Almighty is a loving God who longs to reach out to all mankind to make provisions for their needs and sometimes their wants. He is dependable and trustworthy. So as we obey and trust in him, he will surely supply all our needs in any area that such needs arise and sometimes before the needs arise. The book is written to encourage the reader to trust and lean on God, who is able supply our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

This book is a compilation of scripture verses that have been helpful to me as I struggled with my out of control eating. I foresee these verses as speaking to everyone regardless of their struggles in life. It just happened that my attention was drawn to them for my food issue. Twenty-five years ago I began to see how reading scripture brought me comfort and consolation as I looked for help in this area. One morning in prayer a couple years ago the thought came to me to record all the verses that were meaningful to me with the idea that they might be a source of inspiration for others. My prayer is that you will also experience Gods love and embrace it as you go through this book. I have added a section at the end of each page for you to journal since writing was freeing for me.
