My Journey From Islam To Christianity

This book is about my life growing up as a Muslim boy and young Islamic scholar in West Africa. In search for answers, I arrived at the truth through objective study of the Bible and the Quran. I began to discover the errors in the Quran. Many Muslims have been misled, which will be demonstrated in this book, and some have become extremists as a result. For those who have the potential to become Islamic extremists and terrorists, and for the Christian reader, this book is my attempt as a former Muslim to create a bridge between the Islamic and Christian world. Without judgment or condemnation, this is my way of reaching out to my Muslim brethren, so that we can at least have a conversation about Jesus Christ and Mohammed.

I was born and raised as Muslim. My Journey from Islam to Christianity was very difficult. Every Muslim must make a pilgrimage to Mecca in his/her life time, if possible. My Pilgrimage to Mecca changed my life. My father was jailed and eventually murdered because of his faith. I ended up in a Christian foster home. The trials and tribulations in my life and the arduous journey to Christianity are detailed in this book. My faith and the reasons behind it are explained; biblical and Quranic verses are expounded. A Journey of Faith is a memoir written during a time Sunseria decided to convert from Christianity to Islam. She talks about what made her decide to convert to Islam and how the transition between the two faiths affected her lifestyle and her relationships with friends, family, and her marriage. During the 6 years as a Muslim, she struggled between the desire to want to be a Muslim and fighting with her husband about her new life. She would later fi nd herself at a cross road, choosing to stay with her husband or leaving her marriage to pursue her new life. She would later decide to leave her marriage to pursue the life as a Muslim. After her divorce she realizes that this was a mistake and her faith began to waiver and she slowly began to pull away from the religion. No longer wearing the hijab, Sunseria still finds difficulty living her new life, but continues to hold on to her faith and her trust in God.

Born and raised in Muslim Turkey, Derya Little wandered far and wide in search of her true home. After her parents' divorce, she rejected her family's Islamic faith and became an atheist. During her stormy adolescence, she tried to convince a Christian missionary that there is no God but was converted to Christ instead.
