My Scripture Workbook

This bible study journal is a keepsake journal to record your Bible study notes and teachings. It is not a devotional, however an open guide to record your personal quiet time in the Word. It holds 3 months of daily journaling pages that are intentionally laid out into three sections to cultivate your relationship with God as you study the Word. Each journaling page includes a section for "Scripture", "Notes & Reflection", and then "Prayer & Praise". In the section titled "Scripture", it is recommended that you write down the Scripture passage that you are studying. By writing down the verse, it will help commit the verse to memory and establish a stronger connection and understanding. The "Notes & Reflection" section is a space where you can write down important aspects of the story that stand out to you and your own thoughts and reflection on the passage. And finally, the "Prayer & Praise" section is a space where you can pray over what the Lord has taught you and give thanks. You can also use this space to write down your daily prayer requests. We truly hope this simple and beautifully designed journal enriches your quiet time in the Word!

This book contains twenty-two individual 'Scripture Studies.' Each study focuses on one general area of study. These studies enable individuals to do in-depth, topical studies of the Bible. They are also invaluable to the Bible study teacher preparing lessons for Sunday School or a home Bible study. They can be used for group studies as well. The range of topics covered in the different studies is broad, from what the Bible teaches about itself to what the Bible teaches about divorce and remarriage. Included in each study are hundreds of Scripture references so there will be no lack of material from which to begin your studies. So if you're an individual looking for an aid to improve for your own personal Bible studies or a Bible study teacher or home group leader looking for help in preparing lessons, this book will be of great benefit. The sources for the viewpoints promoted in these Scripture Studies are wide and varied. The ideas are taken from commentaries, study Bibles, theology books, books of various kinds, and most importantly, this writer's own personal study of the Scriptures. The sources for the opposing views presented are publications of groups that promote the ideas and personal conversations this writer has had with members of such groups and adherents to the views. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the Scripture references in these studies. But with the thousands of references presented, it is likely that a few 'typos' have crept in. If the reader comes across a reference that does not make 'sense' in the context presented, just go onto the next one. There are always plenty of verses listed for each point. It is my hope and prayer that God uses these Scripture Studies to help the reader to: '... grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen' (2 Peter 3:18).
