A Methodist minister, the Reverend Thornton Dixon Adams’ career has spanned sixty-five years. Like his grandfather before him, he has served many ministries in North Carolina. This book will help us to prepare for heaven, where we will live with God forever and ever.

But God's design includes suffering and loss because He does things His way and His way is perfect. Jesus, Himself, learned obedience through the things that He suffered (Heb. 5:8).
