The book 'The Autopilot in NetzwerkMensch' was published in 2020 as the third book in the NetzwerkMensch series in the German language. Now we are publishing the English version. 'The Autopilot in NetzwerkMensch' presents the physiology of NetzwerkMensch with scientific principles and tips for everyday life. It shows the holistic basics of human health with the motoric and the metabolic Autopilot as well as the Autopilot of thoughts and feelings. The polyvagale vegetative nervous system with its three circuits of regulation describes the main part of the Autopilot. We act according to our perception of fear, life threat and security. The vegetative polyvagale nervous system connects our body and mind with the world around us, using 'fast and slow thinking'. This perspective helps us to better understand our individual health situation and also to connect us to our inner peace. As a result we may develop a fellow human consciousness. With the awareness of our bio-logical body we can live a natural life naturally.

Diploma Thesis from the year 2010 in the subject Health - Persons with disabilities, grade: Very good, University of Marburg, language: English, abstract: The sexuality of people with intellectual disabilities is still a taboo subject even in our liberal society. Looking at the general public, it seems that sexuality and disability are mutually exclusive. In professional circles, on the other hand, there is a consensus that sexuality is a self-evident basic need and fundamental right even for people who are labeled mentally handicapped. This thesis examines the sexuality of people with intellectual disabilities with special regard to their living situation in a residential home. The author creates sexual educational guidelines, which should enable and support the living of a self-determined sexuality for the people living in the residential home. In the context of this project, the question "What is the significance of sexuality for human development and for personality development for people with a so-called mental disability in particular?" is dealt with, as this is the basis for the development of the guidelines. In this context, factors that impede the personality development and thus also the development of the sexuality of a person with a so-called intellectual disability are pointed out. Overall, this work is intended to contribute to a further removal of the taboos surrounding the sexuality of the group of people concerned and to strengthen their right to a self-determined sexuality in the residential home.

Die in diesem Buch versammelten Texte sind die Ergebnisse des dialogisch angelegten und vom Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst (DAAD) von 2017-2019 geförderten Projekts „Dialogues on Disability and Inclusion between Isfahan and Hamburg“. Gleichzeitig sind die Texte aber auch das Ergebnis eines Schreibexperiments: über alle universitären Hierarchien, fachlichen und sprachlichen Hindernisse hinweg haben Projektmitglieder aus den verschiedenen Fakultäten der Isfahan University of Medical Sciences und Projektmitglieder aus dem Institut für Behindertenpädagogik der Universität Hamburg Autor*innentandems gebildet und gemeinsam Texte in Deutsch, Englisch und Farsi zur Arbeit von NGOs von und für Menschen mit Behinderungen, Gesundheits- und Rehabilitationszentren, Schulen und Universitäten, aber auch zur Umsetzung der UN-BRK in Isfahan, Hamburg und den ländlichen Regionen der beiden Städte sowie zur Reflexion allgemein gebräuchlicher Begriffe für „Behinderung“ im Deutschen und Farsi geschrieben. So geben die Beiträge nicht nur Einblicke in die Umsetzung, Kämpfe und Debatten um Inklusion und Behinderung in den beiden Städten, sondern auch in die Bandbreite der unterschiedlichen individuellen wie fachlichen Wahrnehmungen und Perspektiven auf Inklusion und Behinderung der Autor*innen.

The Handbook of Easy Languages in Europe describes what Easy Language is and how it is used in European countries. It demonstrates the great diversity of actors, instruments and outcomes related to Easy Language throughout Europe. All people, despite their limitations, have an equal right to information, inclusion, and social participation. This results in requirements for understandable language. The notion of Easy Language refers to modified forms of standard languages that aim to facilitate reading and language comprehension. This handbook describes the historical background, the principles and the practices of Easy Language in 21 European countries. Its topics include terminological definitions, legal status, stakeholders, target groups, guidelines, practical outcomes, education, research, and a reflection on future perspectives related to Easy Language in each country.
