The Book ‘Never Mine’ is about friendship and self-love. Shanaya is the most shy girl in her school and the only person who runs her world crazy is her younger friend Sidharth- the social butterfly. They had been friends for a long time and, as we all know, a girl and boy can’t just be friends. Shanaya develops feelings for her crush, Sidharth, who is totally unaware of the fact. A twist of moment and a bold confession brings them together in a way Shanaya can’t accept nor she can reject and the cost she might have to pay is the friendship she really cherished. This story is about the ups and down a person goes through while learning to love themselves. The question is, will Shanaya finally learn to love herself? And will she lose the friendship and love she had?

What if their fake relationship wasn't ever just pretend?Sage Carson has a messy reputation. Sure, she's a soccer star with World Cup trophies and Olympic medals, but she's almost as well known for her rebellious behavior off the pitch. She's left enough gorgeous women with broken hearts in her dust to fill a roster. That was, until she got injured. Now, her frustratingly-slow recovery means she'd better secure this new squeaky-clean endorsement deal in order to get back on top.Sweet, sunshiny Willa Bellamy has a crisis on her hands. She's used to it - as an events coordinator for the Denver Zoo, it's her job to handle crises. But when she receives an invite to her ex's wedding, she's not so sure it'll be as easy to handle as an escaped emu during a Girl Scout sleepover. Even worse, when the bachelorette party invite mentions that couples are welcome, she realizes she's the sole single person invited. Fifteen years ago, Willa and Sage roamed the same halls of Edgelake High School. When their paths cross again, they decide to team up to solve both their problems - a stable, albeit fake, relationship to snag the endorsement deal and a hot soccer star to make the couples getaway sting a little less... But when the lines between real and fake start to blur, will they be able to keep the growing heat between them just a game or will they start playing to win?

Brian Medlin met the novelist Iris Murdoch at Oxford in 1961 when he joined New College as a Research Fellow, and they remained friends for the remainder of her life, though after he left Oxford they only met once again. This correspondence published here covers a period of more than twenty years. In his letters, Medlin regaled Murdoch with Australian jokes, travel stories and anecdotes, and answered her many questions about Australian flora and fauna, and the Australian vernacular. She in turn quizzed him about his radical politics, and they agreed to disagree about Marxism and the bourgeoisie. In 1992, she wrote a review of his radical environmental monograph Human Nature, Human Survival for an Australian newspaper, and the full text of that review (only one-quarter of which was published at the time) is also published in this book. Medlin, born in 1927, was already in his mid-thirties when he arrived at New College. He had not had a typical academic career. He spent his early years in outback Australia as a store-keeper, kangaroo shooter, stockyard builder, horse-breaker and drover. He returned to Adelaide in the early 1950s and studied Philosophy. After graduation, a scholarship took him to Oxford. On his return to Australia, he was appointed to the chair of Philosophy at the new Flinders University (founded in 1966). Iris Murdoch’s correspondence with Brian Medlin is the record of a deeply affectionate relationship between two highly intelligent, articulate and philosophically sophisticated beings.
