The Holy Spirit impressed upon my lifelong friend Becky Burton and me to start HEALING STREAMS WOMEN'S OUTREACH MINISTRIES in CA in 2002 . We launched this ministry in Barstow, CA in Mission Field Church March 2002 to help hurting women to discover who they are in Jesus. It was based on the Scripture EZ. 47:9 "And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed and everything will live wherever the river goes. Becky and I saw many hurting women transformed by the power of the forgiving and healing blood of Jesus Christ. I led them into the glorious presence of the Holy Spirit in anointed praise and worship. Then Becky gave teachings on Who You Are In Christ. Becky later moved to Mississippi and began teaching Healing Streams in her Church for five years in Southhaven, Mississippi. Becky's book STORMS AGAINST THE WALL was published in 2004. When Bob and I moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2003, I started teaching Healing Streams in a Methodist Church for a short time. After a short time, the Lord closed the doors. I had no room to hold meetings in my home until Sept. 15, 2011, where God miraculously moved us into a large Italian Villa on a hill that overlooks the lights of the city of Las Vegas. The patio features a flowing waterfall that flows from a rock. It is a perfect place to hold meetings. Healing Streams was launched in our home in Anthem June 27, 2012. The Holy Spirit has brought in numerous hurting women to Healing Streams. Praise Jesus! They come in depressed and leave full of joy and praise. Some have suffered disease, broken marriages, abuse and devastation. Jesus is touching them with His healing power! I teach from my Holy Spirit booklets, and lead worship. I have seen Jesus turn their tears into joy and laughter. I never gave up on my vision and dream to see Healing Streams raised up by the power of the Holy Spirit! I would like to say to the readers of my books, "to hold on to your dreams and never give up!" While on temporary duty with the US Army in Stuttgart, Germany, a fellow employee asked if I planned to take a side trip to the little village of Conques in south-central France to visit the Ste Foy Church. "The Ste Foy Church?" I asked. I had never heard about Ste Foy of Conques. All my life people had questioned me on the origin of my name since it was so unusual. I shared my aunt's name, but the family had no idea of the origin. More significantly, when I was 18 years old, living in the Philippines, I converted to the Catholic faith. The priest that baptized me told me that Foye was not a Christian name and I should select another name under which to be baptized. So imagine my surprise to find out years later that I had been given a saints name. I never made the trip to Conques, but I started collecting as much information as I could about Ste Foy. I fell in love with her story and decided to write this book for my granddaughter who shares my name.
