SEX, DRUGS, EDUCATION, POLITICS, SPORT, MARRIAGE, MEDICINE . . . C.R.A.P. dishes the dirt on the way your elders and 'betters' fumble with the big issues affecting YOU. Think about it - it's YOUR LIFE and adults (richer, more powerful, and in total control) get all the airtime. It's time for teens to turn . . . John Farman's revolutionary C.R.A.P. exposes the social hypocrisy, political fact-twisting, conspiratorial networks, 'holier than thou' clap-trap and concealed cock-ups of our do-as-I-say-and-not-as-I-do elders.

The title of this book may have caused you to raise your eyebrows just a little, but since you are reading this, it must have also caused you to pick it up to learn more. But it should cause you to do much more than that. It should cause you and the others who will read these chapters to think, to be concerned, and to act. That’s Crap and You Know It: How to Raise Conservative kids to Stand Against Liberalism is a challenge to conservative parents to get active, to get aggressive, and to get busy in order to raise their children to carry the conservative torch into the future. It is the call to imperative action – an action to show our kids what we believe as conservatives and why we believe it. The eleven chapters in this book set down what we know to be proven ways to raise kids who are certain and outspoken about their conservative beliefs. Through these pages, parents are shown how to promote political involvement within their kids, to teach them to use their voices in the ballot box and on the courthouse square, and to know the truth about our American history, our heritage, and the conservative principles that have made our nation the greatest on earth. Most importantly of all, this book is a call for parents to empower their kids, to give them license to speak out and to stand up – even when the liberal world tries to silence them with lies, name-calling, and an agenda that is vast and powerful. It is, if you will, a call to teach our conservative kids to respond to the liberal progressive agenda with those six little words that say it all... “That’s crap, and you know it”.

NEVER IN THE HISTORY of the United States of America has the political scene been so polarizing. Republicans Who Sell Good Crap details how like-minded Republican politicians, political analysts, television and radio talk-show hosts push the rhetoric across limitless boundaries selling good crap, like drug dealers to their addicted clients. The good crap now infused with tea baggers has sky-rocketed their sales to a new level. What happened?...It just so happened that someone with an odd sounding name had the Audacity of Hope and dared to fulfill The Dream set off this firestorm of utter and complete disrespect for the highest office in the country. He is un-American! He pals around with terrorists! Is that pandering, or is it fear-mongering? Well take back our country! Reload and take up arms! Is that patriotism, or is it home grown terrorism? Hes a racist! Hes a socialist! Is that hypocrisy, or is it idiocy? Like crabs in a barrel, clawing their way to the top of the crap pile, they throw out words and phrases to outdo each other to see who can sell the best crap.

The destruction of monuments during the Black Lives Matter movement of 2020 shows how many nations are being forced to grapple with their national histories. It is clear that the things which make up our streets form a core part of our historical, political and cultural identity. Here, Eloise Florence turns to Berlin and the deeply entrenched English-language narratives about World War II to explore the complicated relationship between violence, place and memory in the Anglo-American consciousness. Centered upon Teufelsberg – a hill in Berlin born from the rubble caused by Allied bombing – and other sites of violence across Germany's capital, this interdisciplinary study unpicks the use and abuse of area bombing and its cultural memory in Anglo-American audiences. Grounded in theories of new materialism and post-humanism, and drawing on extensive empirical and auto-ethnographic data, the issues addressed include: moving through urban landscapes as an embodied means of memorializing war and trauma; remembering destruction as a means to advance or challenge traditional war mythologies; and curation as an entry point for tourists to reconsider the impact of British and American aerial raids, including modern drone warfare. This innovative volume shines an important light on both the dark legacy of the aerial bombing of Berlin and the ways in which we record and read violent histories more generally. As such, Traces of Aerial Bombing in Berlin will be an invaluable resource for all scholars of World War II, memory culture and public history.
