A collection of recipes from the hearts & minds of Italian forefathers, many handed down from generation to generation & written down for the very first time in this cookbook. Over 500 recipes were received from the members of the Grand Lodge of Florida. A few were received on notepaper, just jotted down. Some in yellowed envelopes written by a family member long departed. My Italian Heritage is a charming and sophisticated illustrated children’s book written in lyric poetry that describes the substance and uniqueness of being Italian. It is appropriate for age group four to eight or early readers who are curious-minded and drawn to bright vibrant colors and illustrations that tell their own story.
