Princess Zoe

Princess Zoe is a series of short stories about a young fairy princess called Princess Zoe and her many friends in their home land. Together, they go on many adventures, including defeating monsters, sorting out bullies, and helping to rescue anyone who is in trouble.

My mom used to tell us, to me and my sister, stories about the heroes of the legends and their mythical animals. As a young child, I read many fairy tales. I was always amazed of their world. And then I started to wonder if they were only fantasy. I travelled inside these stories throughout my mind, and the more I read, the more they seemed real to me. I felt alive just imagining that I am a part of their world, where I was always welcomed by everything and everybody. My sister was always my companion in all my travels, and she always took good care of me. Before I knew it, I grew up and I was blessed with a wonderful child. His innocence and beautiful heart reminded me of our childhood where innocence was the name of our world. My son was and is an inspiration for a fantasy world of my own. Just for my him, I decided to bring the myths and legends into our world. I decided to give them life. This book is a blend of magic, fantasy, and reality. Here is the place where I brought together the mythical animals, heroes, stories about underworld life, reality and magic. The legends are so real in my book, you feel like they were always part of us. I always imagined reading stories to my grandchildren when they will go to bed at night. I hope someday my wish will come true. It is a happy book with happy ending. In fact, this is not the end, it is the beginning of an adventure of a lifetime and never-ending knowledge.

Princess Zoe loves being a princess, but she also loves archery and horseback riding and sword fighting. She dreams of going on an adventure of her own, but every time she asks, her father always tells her 'No. Those things are for princes. not princesses.' When her brother, the prince, is captured by a dragon, Zoe sets off on her first quest, determined to prove that a princess can be a hero too.

Two sisters find each other in the midst of a struggle for power in a world struggling to find enough resources for everyone amid trash. They have to find a way to unite a world that loves being separate, in order to find true peace.

The beauty of this book is that each poem is accompanied by a full-page beautiful illustration. The adult narrator will read the poem to the child, and the child will be able to identify in the image everything that is in the poem. Each poem is about a mermaid, but the beginning of the book concerns how the mermaids are instructed by a red octopus to fulfill their mermaid duties. Girls will love the book and that is the targeted audience.

This is an adventure tale of a royal family and their quest for 'the prize'. The story takes place on the island of Strio in the fictional kingdom of Morea which is part of Europe. The story centers on the children of the family, Prince Christodoridi, and his sisters Danae and Angelike. The story ends on a moral note when the value of the prize is questioned. Sydney C. Grier was the pseudonym of Hilda Caroline Gregg (1868 – 1933) She was an English author who wrote novels and short stories.She published a novel every year until 1925, mostly heroic tales about the adventures of English people in places such as Afghanistan, Baghdad, and India.
