Gamer Ren Takashiro loves nothing more than taking junk job classes and turning them into the new meta. So when he enrolls at a special school that incorporates online gaming into their curriculum at the invitation of his longtime gaming buddy, Akira, Ren of course decides to be a symbologist—supposedly the weakest class of all. He quickly gets to work making it a force to be reckoned with, but little does he know he’s in for a surprise he never expected... It turns out that his pal Akira is actually a cute girl!

The Hell’s Crafters are on a roll! Ren and his friends have just opened up an item shop to great success, yet not everything goes quite as planned for the scrappy four-man guild. When a princess gets kidnapped while stopping by, it’s up to them–along with a couple of surprising additions to the team–to solve the case! After that, there’s a competitive guild mission to train up a hero...and you can bet this party is going to choose the absolute weakest NPC possible! It’s time to redefine the meta once again!

Not long after enrolling at his new school, Ren forms a guild of his own with three (cute) girls in class, including his longtime gaming buddy Akira. In the midst of organizing that, Ren also finds out that Yukino—an upperclassman—is actually a friend he met playing another game! Yukino is an avid PvPer, and she invites Ren and Akira to participate in a tournament hosted by her guild, Mystic Arts. And you can bet things get wild when Ren redefines the meta on his unsuspecting foes!

The Hell’s Crafters have thrown their hat into the hero-building tournament with Kokoru, the weakest NPC around. Before they can start leveling him up, however, they realize all the good training grounds have been taken by the other guilds. Enter their secret weapon: Kotomi’s personal airship, which can take them to all the best grinding spots at warp speed! The team also has another ace up their sleeve in Ren, whose diligent data combing has discovered a way to make the Golden Bunny spawn for mucho experience points!

After guiding the super weak NPC Kokoru to victory in the hero-training event, Ren and his guild gear up for their next adventure: summer vacation! Like a true gamer, Ren decides to spend his break playing his favorite MMO. The academy has unlocked special areas just for the summer and enabled cross-server play, allowing him to party up with longtime American friend and expert programmer, Emily... But how will Akira react when she sees the two of them together?!

Ren creates a party to take on the limited-time only summer events in game, but the girls erupt into chaos over his picks! On top of that, Ren decides to pick up a solo quest at Kokoru’s. Can he clear his log...and win love in the process?
