This book is about the power of a re-Encounter. Every year I go back through the life of Christ and have a re-Encounter with Him. Each time I do this it amazes me how much I learn. Sometimes I am corrected in my thinking. Perhaps I made a wrong assumption in a previous encounter or missed something entirely on an earlier reading. The other thing that happens when I re-Encounter the life of Christ is that my perspective has changed and the material affects me differently. Hopefully my perspective has changed because of growth on my part or a new experience. But it may also be because I am in a new stage of life and I am seeing things through a new lens. The goal of this book is merely an introduction to Jesus, an opportunity for a re-Encounter. I have not included all the events of His life, but tried to select events that give us the best picture possible of who Jesus was.
