Refined

A refined single-valued/interval neutrosophic set is very suitable for the expression and application of decision-making problems with both attributes and sub-attributes since it is described by its refined truth, indeterminacy, and falsity degrees.

This report discusses the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) in the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, which was authorized to help prevent a repetition of the economic dislocation caused by the 1973-1974 Arab oil embargo. The Government Accountability Office recently observed that the proportion of crude oil grades in the SPR has been growing less compatible with the heavier grades of crude oil that U.S. refineries have been upgrading to handle. This finding has raised questions about the SPR's effectiveness during a long-term oil disruption involving heavy oil.

In this paper, we present the lattice structures of neutrosophic theories. We prove that Zhang-Zhang’s YinYang bipolar fuzzy set is a subclass of the Single-Valued bipolar neutrosophic set. Then we show that the pair structure is a particular case of refined neutrosophy, and the number of types of neutralities (sub-indeterminacies) may be any finite or infinite number.

Used lubricating oil is a valuable resource. This book examines recycling processes for a range of products with different properties and different criteria. It also compares the various recycling methods and resulting products to conventional products obtained from original refining processes. The reviews, data, and comparisons provided by the authors allow readers to identify which processes are likely to produce a product with specific properties, and enable them to combine this with an analysis of the economic data to identify attractive oil recycling propositions.

The U.S. has imposed multiple sanctions against Iran to deter it from developing its nuclear program, supporting terrorism, and abusing human rights. On 7/1/10, the Pres. signed into law the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act (CISADA). It requires the Pres. to impose sanctions against persons who knowingly sell or provide Iran with refined petroleum products. This report highlights info. that could contribute to the identification of persons or firms whose activities may be sanctionable under CISADA. It identifies: (1) firms that sold refined petroleum products to Iran at any time during the period between 1/1/09, and 6/30/10; and (2) firms that also had U.S. gov¿t. contracts in FY 2009 or 2010.
