The goal of this book is to move our government, by educating America, to a place of responsible energy solutions which will produce financial and national security. It will provide a grass root opportunity for constituents to demand results from elected servants based on facts --not opinions. These facts are derived from the EIA, DOE, USGS, IPPA, NDGS, and other reputable scientific agencies, not environmental or political opinions. America is facing serious issues concerning its energy and political policies. We, as a people, have to act now to avoid further degradation of our country's future due to special interest groups and political maneuvering that is leaving our nation crippled. It is time the truth is explored and for the masses of Americans to make intelligent decisions as to which strategic path to follow concerning its energy policies, economy, and political infrastructure. This book will be informative and should create a call to action for those who are interested in correcting our Nations energy and financial course.

The United States of America is the greatest, the noblest and, in its original founding principles, the only moral country in the history of the world." Ayn Rand The Constitution has failed. At its birth, the Constitution changed the world. But over the past century it has repeatedly failed to protect Americans from countless human rights violations. Yet, most Americans do not even realize that it has failed, which is a much more troubling problem. Americans are not properly educated in their nation's great heritage, nor the reasons why our nation exists. We are taught that we rebelled because we didn't want to pay taxes. Taxes were not the issue. Today, in a confused struggle to do what is right, we have cannibalize our principles and forgotten our great purpose. This book is an attempt to reawaken the giant that changed the world. The ideas that the led to our nations founding still have the power to radically change history. We only need to remember who we are. Liberal or conservative, this book will challenge you to see the world in a new and powerful way. The United States still has a destiny to fulfill in the world, the only question is... will we do what is necessary to realize that future? Find out how by reading "American Resurrection: The Failure of the U.S. Constitution and The Rebirth of A Nation."

Only one of its kind: Devotionals for Holocaust-proofing by Resurrection Power. Is there a connection between today's startling rise of terrorism, natural calamities, violence, wars, and the Holocaust? This book plainly says there is. If you ask why a good God lets bad things happen, you'll see how God is powerful enough and loving enough to bring forth the best for his family out of their worst experiences. Israel, through her Holocaust, is revealed as God's linchpin for all nations. This book details God's relationship plan for Christians, for the church, for Israel, and for Messianic (or "Completed") Jews. Its thesis is direct and simple: we can walk together in love where none have walked before. A mindset that can handle the Holocaust from God's perspective will sustain us through inevitable dark times ahead, ushering us into a fresh, reassuring, and eternal joy of God's everlasting kingdom on earth. Pelham Gross grew up on the family farm and studied at Mississippi State ('51) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary ('55). He was filled with the Spirit in 1962 and served as a pastor, prophet, and teacher in one of the first non-denominational Spirit-filled movements. He helped lead a church into racial reconciliation during the sixties in Memphis, Tennessee. Pelham and wife DeDe are caught up in an ongoing Israel-experience with God that has already filled two books, this one being the third. They worshipped and studied for three years at The International House of Prayer Kansas City under Mike Bickle, and took classes under Messianic Rabbi Jerry Feldman. They stand with Messianics in Israel through Dr. Daniel Juster and Tikkun Ministries International. They now live in Boonville, Missouri and share revelation on www.IsraelOwnsTheChurch.com, [email protected].

Nineteenth-century readers had an appetite for books so big they seemed to contain the whole world: immense novels, series of novels, encyclopaedias. Especially in Eurasia and North America, especially among the middle and upper classes, people had the space, time, and energy for very long books. More than other multi-volume nineteenth-century collections, the dictionaries, or their descendants of the same name, remain with us in the twenty-first century. Online or on paper, people still consult Oxford for British English, Webster for American, Grimm for German, Littr for French, Dahl for Russian. Even in spaces whose literary languages already had long philological and lexicographic traditions-Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Persian, Greek, Latin-the burgeoning imperialisms and nationalisms of the nineteenth century generated new dictionaries. The Whole World in a Book explores a period in which globalization, industrialization, and social mobility were changing language in unimaginable ways. Newly automated technologies and systems of communication expanded the international reach of dictionaries, while rising literacy rates, book consumption, and advertising led to their unprecedented popularization. Dictionaries in the nineteenth century became more than dictionaries: they were battlefields between prestige languages and lower-status dialects; national icons celebrating the language and literature of the nation-state; and sites of innovative authorship where middle and lower classes, volunteers, women, colonial subjects, the deaf, and missionaries joined the ranks of educated white men in defining how people communicated and understood the world around them. In this volume, eighteen of the world's leading scholars investigate these lexicographers asking how the world within which they lived supported their projects? What did language itself mean for them? What goals did they try to accomplish in their dictionaries?

Beyond the Threshold is the first book to seriously consider the interplay between traditional world religions and metaphysical experiences in exploring the timeless question of what happens when we die. Christopher M. Moreman examines and compares the beliefs and practices of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism, as well as psychic phenomena such as mediums and near-death experiences. While ultimately the afterlife remains unknowable, Moreman's unique, in-depth exploration of both beliefs and experiences can help readers reach their own understanding of the afterlife and how to live.
