Revelation Visualized

Revelation: Written in Layman's Terms, Volume 2, covers chapters 20 to 22, along with the continuation of the Tribulation Period in detail. It also contains the chronology of the Second Coming of Christ, the battle of Armageddon, the one-thousand-year millennium, and finally, eternity (the ages to come)!

In 1987, when Ed joined a new church, the pastor was teaching on the book of Revelation. Ed so enjoyed the teaching that he decided to read what others had to say about Revelation. He quickly learned that there were many different interpretations of Revelation and other books of the Bible that contained prophecy about the end times or latter days. He decided that he needed to do more reading and study of scripture, as well as books written by others, so he could come to his own understanding of what God was telling us about how He would bring things to an end. After much reading and prayer, his focus narrowed primarily to the books of Daniel and Revelation. The book of Daniel is about Israel in the time before Christ. The prophecy in Daniel begins with the Babylonian kingdom and continues through the Roman kingdom in such detail and accuracy that many believe it was written much later and is more historical than prophetic. It also tells us about the later kingdoms but in a much broader sense and less detail. The book of Revelation, written by John on the island of Patmos, tells us about the kingdoms that come after the Roman kingdom. Revelation tells us in great detail about Christ's message to the seven churches and the seventieth week of Daniel's prophecy of seventy weeks of years. This includes the breaking of the seven seals, the blowing of the seven trumpets, and the pouring out of the seven bowl judgments. Lastly it tells us the good news about the return of Christ and the establishment of His kingdom.

Finally, a book which simplistically, insightfully and systematically presents an integrated, concrete overview of the 22 chapters, or 404 verses, of the book of Revelation. "Revelation Unsealed" is unique in a number of major areas. It is the first book to approach the text of Revelation from what is termed the Pre-Wrath Rapture perspective. This is the hotly debated view that the church will enter the Seventieth Week, undergo the great tribulation of the Antichrist, and be gathered off the earth before the wrath of God unfolds. This view is presented in a logical scenario, which is then placed within the overall context of the Apocalypse. Also contained is an entirely fresh biblical perspective of the emergence of the Antichrist. Additionally, this book also fully covers the relevance of world events, the amazing track record of biblical prophecy, the fulfillment of the seven religious feast of Israel, the battle of Armageddon, and the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ. All of these issues are addressed in a concise and simple manner with numerous charts and illustrations to aid the reader in easily conceptualizing and visualizing what is outlined. Its contents will challenge both the newest Christian and the seasoned biblical scholar.

This book presents a review of the principle approaches for visualizing DNA and RNA. Using scanning tunneling and atomic force microscopes, the three-dimensional image of the surface of nucleic acids can be seen at atomic-scale resolutions. Spreading methods provide useful details on structural features of isolated molecules, but the major constituent of living matter is water, and the cryomicroscope makes it possible to look at DNA in its aqueous environment. Genes can be detected simultaneously in situ in chromosomes using fluorescent probes, and also at the electron microscopic level. In cells, nucleic acids are localized and quantified by dyes; electron microscopy is used with cytochemical, immunocytological, nuclease, and in situ hybridization methods. The main potential applications for pathological studies are shown with particular aspects such as viral nucleic acids and in situ PCR.

In heaven we shall know everlasting rest and the full measure of our inheritance. Though no eye has seen what God has prepared for us, from Revelation 21-22 we can understand a little of what heaven will feel like. We shall know a new freedom, economy, purity, peace, and so much more. Those will be the simple experiences. The greater experiences will be in everlasting love, most especially in an everlasting marriage and an enduring intimate community. Likewise, we shall know a growing and everlasting security within our grand heritage within God’s promises and in the work of Christ. Yet the greatest experience of all is also the hardest to understand, because it is the farthest removed from our earthly experience. The greatest experience of all will be that—for the rest of our everlasting loving lives—we will share in the very life and glory of our dynamic and loving God, our loving Father and Abba. The greatest experience in heaven will be the very life and light that we share with God Himself, so very personal and loving to the uttermost.
