Surely Spain's great heritage of the past would point to great achievement in the future, and while an occasional exception in heritage may weaken the bond for a time, it rarely breaks it, and among all who understand the Spanish people of the present day, it is generally believed that Spain is entering upon a new era of progress and achievement. Surely they are fortunate in their young King, born to them a king indeed, in a moment of need and anxiety, but inheriting from all sides the qualities necessary to guide and guard his people.
