Originally published in 1912 in England, this work by the American journalists Ruth and Reginald Wright Kauffman reflects their belief as Marxists that the Mormon church was a victim of a capitalist soc. Their intention was to summarize the widespread anti-Mormon lit. that appeared in the Amer. press during the late 19th and early 20th cent.
