Seed Man

When a mysterious stranger carrying a bag of seeds comes to town, magical things start to happen. After Seed Man plants the seeds, a wonderful tree grows, bearing special "fruit" such as toys, musical instruments, and even a puppy! With assistance from some helpful fairies, Seed Man's gifts are delivered all over town. Each gift perfectly suited to its recipient. And even if someone didn't know they needed a special gift, Seed Man and the fairies knew. But not all the gifts are welcome at first, especially to someone whose heart has been broken.

Our empty, husbandless women’s bodies had started thrumming in a way there was no mistaking. In unison, our exhausted arms left off stacking hay. Glancing at one another, each and all of us remembered our oath. The Seed Man has been adapted as theater, film, tale, dance, cartoon and engraving. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Born in 1835, Violette Ailhaud died in 1925. She wrote The Seed Man in 1919 – when her village lost all its men for the second time.

What has come to assume the form of seed of glory is an extract from my experience of God in the Holy Spirit. Its a journey that began as a search for meaning and fulfillment in life. I had studied the sacred scriptures for various reasons in the past: to write exams, to give a talk, or just for curiosity to know and acquire knowledge. But this time, I wanted to encounter God on the pages of the sacred writings. Since the Word of God is spirit and life, I desired to encounter the power of the spirit through the written words of God. This was my starting point for my journey with the Holy Spirit. I had very strange experiences that words cannot express. At a point I was commissioned to commit my experiences to writing. That was how I came about the Seed of Glory: Journeying with the Holy Spirit. The work is written in twenty-two chapters.
