This book presents 94 papers from the 2nd International Conference of Reliable Information and Communication Technology 2017 (IRICT 2017), held in Johor, Malaysia, on April 23–24, 2017. These two volumes constitute the Proceedings of the 7th International Workshop on Soft Computing Applications (SOFA 2016), held on 24–26 August 2016 in Arad, Romania.
