Somewhere Out In The West a novel by Leota Korns tells the struggle of developing in the West today. It pits the stalwart people of the West with their frontier neighborliness against the newcomers, who want the West to remain as is except for sheep and cattle, and no water storage, so that rivers run wild and free. In this background developer Judith Sandstrom meets documentary film producer Robert Markham. Both have lost in this battle and share the same experiences. In the end the battle of the West is settled by a new and surprising twist of the government.

This work is hard core and not for the weakest of souls. I dont worship the devil nor do I take part in cult rituals and nor do I do much at all, hell, I am very lazy. I do not attend stuff sacred rituals because I am a lazy piece of crap. I will say this, though: this book is made up of grim and intrepid societal bush whack of uncanny proportions. There are a lot of good love stories because after all, there wouldnt be anything for anyone without some good old love. As far as this books limits, like Dirt from Hard Time Radio, 89.3 said, as he said it best: this work was put together like a horror movie and thats all it is man; and there it is. Good luck to all.

This collection of essays examines popular writer Pearl Cleage’s work, including her novels, short stories and plays. It is the first book-length consideration of a writer and activist whose bold perspectives on social justice, race and gender have been influential for several decades. While academically critical, the essays mirror Cleage’s own philosophical commitment to theoretical transparency and translation. The book includes an in-depth interview with the author and a foreword by former Cleage student and acclaimed novelist Tayari Jones in addition to essays from contributors representing an interdisciplinary cross-section of academic fields.
