Taking all my annual holiday in one hit, I set out to achieve my dream ambition of travelling around South America, with the ultimate goal of reaching Machu Picchu. With very limited time available, the 26-day tour started in Brazil, and continued through Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia, before arriving in Peru. Unlike usual travel writing, this book is written from a completely different perspective. There's no problems with travel arrangements, no tents or rucksacks, no running out of money in foreign countries, no getting swept away in rivers, or dealing with unchartered territories. Instead, this is my account of a great travel story, packed with facts and experiences about my dream place on earth, whilst meeting some interesting people and learning all about South American history in general.
