God still has a plan for you--not in spite of your past, but because of it! Do regret and shame over your failures, sins, and shortcomings make you wonder how you could ever be loved, much less used, by a holy God? Tracie Miles felt the same way until she discovered the path to healing, peace, and significance. She helps you recognize that God not only has a purpose for you, but He has prepared you for your divine purpose based specifically on the experiences of your past. Through her own story and stories from other women who have discovered God's purpose for their lives because of adverse experiences, Tracie helps you see how God can turn pain into purpose. You will find forgiveness and healing from the troubles of your past, discover the courage to step out of your comfort zone to help others find hope and strength, and be inspired to step into the beautiful future God divinely designed for you. Let Tracie Miles help you discover your calling and the way you are uniquely equipped to make your life count!" --Renee Swope, bestselling author of A Confident Heart and Proverbs 31 Ministries' radio cohost, "Everyday Life with Lysa & Renee"

Eugene England (1933-2001)—one of the most influential and controversial intellectuals in modern Mormonism—lived in the crossfire between religious tradition and reform. This first serious biography, by leading historian Terryl L. Givens, shimmers with the personal tensions felt deeply by England during the turmoil of the late twentieth century. Drawing on unprecedented access to England's personal papers, Givens paints a multifaceted portrait of a devout Latter-day Saint whose precarious position on the edge of church hierarchy was instrumental to his ability to shape the study of modern Mormonism. A professor of literature at Brigham Young University, England also taught in the Church Educational System. And yet from the sixties on, he set church leaders' teeth on edge as he protested the Vietnam War, decried institutional racism and sexism, and supported Poland's Solidarity movement—all at a time when Latter-day Saints were ultra-patriotic and banned Black ordination. England could also be intemperate, proud of his own rectitude, and neglectful of political realities and relationships, and he was eventually forced from his academic position. His last days, as he suffered from brain cancer, were marked by a spiritual agony that church leaders were unable to help him resolve.

Robin Urbina has always struggled with compulsive eating, sugar addiction, and making unfavorable food choices. It is Robin’s ability to turn her struggles over to Jesus that has helped her through challenging times. It is Jesus who helps her accept herself and her body. Exercise Your Faith is neither a professional guide about exercise nor a scholarly text about Bible translation and verses. Consider this an entry-level look at where to start and how to grow in your physical health and faith. This thirty-day devotional includes topics like endurance, rest, discipline, and victory. Each devotional illustrates the similarities between working out and our walk with the Lord. Whether your struggle is food, exercise, or walking with Jesus, Robin prays these pages make you smile or just give you the desire to keep going. She prays you are inspired to open your Bible, go for a walk, or even just cry out to God and hear Him speak to you.
