Studies In Construction History The Proceedings Of The Second Construction History Society Conference

The proceedings of second conference of the Construction History Society, which took place on 20 and 21 March 2015 at Queens' College, Cambridge, featuring 28 peer-reviewed papers covering a wide variety of subjects on the theme of construction history.

This volume presents 50 peer-reviewed papers presented at the Sixth Annual Conference of the Construction History Society held at Queens' College Cambridge from 5-7 April 2019 which cover a wide variety of topics on aspects of construction history with a section devoted entirely to papers on water engineering.

This book provides the peer-reviewed papers accepted for the Seventh Annual Conference of the Construction History Society. The 53 papers in this volume cover a wide range of topics in the history of construction including papers on the history of water, fountains, roofs, prefabrication, cladding, thin shell vaults, contracting, fire proof floors and renders, covering a period from the Romans to the end of the 20th century.

This volume is the fourth in the series. Each contains the papers presented at the annual conferences of the Construction History Society.
