Superman tries to learn more about his home planet of Krypton, but is interrupted when Metropolis strikes a case of serious bad luck--in the form of hundreds of robot black cats attacking the city!

The world is free of Kryptonite, thanks to Lex Luthor's bid to turn its radiation into a safe energy source and render it harmless to Superman...but all good things come with a price.

Lex Luthor's experiment with an outer space mineral has rendered all of Earth's Kryptonite utterly harmless to Superman. But why would Luthor make things better for the Man of Steel?
